Empath and Healer

"Shit shit shit shittttt" Dustin says.

You shiver as seeing the creature brings back unwanted memories.

Lucas loads his wrist-rocket and fires.

Everyone else is panicking but you..

You stand there, you focus your energy.

"Y/n!!! Get away!!!!" Mike yells.

The monster leans down and opens its mouth.

Blood and saliva dripped on you but you tried your hardest not to notice.

It was the point where you didn't know what was it's spit or your sweat.

Suddenly, you place your hand on its shoulder. It was uncomfortable but it was worth it.

'SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP YOU IDIOT'

You kept repeating the thoughts for what seemed like forever.

The demogorgan dropped down onto the floor in a crumpled heap.

Your powers were pretty awesome.

You were an empath and a healer.

The others stare at you.

You give them a weak thumbs up.. but then.. you faint...

It all goes black.

*flashback*

"007, strangely, you do not possess such powers as the other subjects, we are going to have to test you again" Dr Brenner says.

Suddenly a hoard of doctors or just men in white coats rush in.

The doctors drag you across the corridor as you scream.

"Noooo, I don't want to be testeddddddd"

The door slams behind you and an evil looking woman injects you with this substance.

You scream in pain.

It wasn't the injection that hurt, it was the liquid pulsing around your veins.

"So far no gene mutations located"

"Get meee out offfff heerrrreeeee"

You fainted.

"Y/n?" Mikes voice echoed in your head.

You see a bunch of distorted faces.

"W-where am I?" you say.

Dustin says "Mike's basement"

Somehow it looked a bit familiar. You think that you've been here before, maybe Will took you there whilst you were in the upside down. It didn't matter much though.

"Oh okay" you say and attempt to get up but you just flop back onto the floor.

"Hey y/n, you need to take your time." Mikes voice comes into focus.

You wonder why he suddenly cared.

You here Max talking on the phone as you lay there staring at the ceiling.

"Okay! See you soon bye!!" Max says into the phone.

She hangs up and walks over.

"Good news, Will and El are coming tomorrow, so are Jonathan and Joyce but ya know, thats-" she smiles down at you, "you are awake, that's good!"

"Yep well I can't move without fainting which is great" you say sarcastically.

"Well you can certainly move your mouth!" Max says as she laughs.

Everyone begins some serious conversation about El and Will but all you can think of is the demogorgan. Are there more? You didn't even kill that one and you are pretty much dead.

"Y/n? Do you want to go home?" Max says finally.

You get up and cling onto her hand to stabilise yourself.

You walk home and she wheels the bike alongside you.

"Well that was an interesting day!" She says.

You nod.

When you arrive at the house your immediate thought was

'I need sleep right now'

So the moment you hit the mattress you fell fast asleep.
