𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐱𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 [𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐝 𝐱 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫] ✔️

𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 [12]

   I LOOKED AT JJ WHO WAS STILL CONVINCED that Leo was coming today. He wasn't if I had anything to do about it. I groaned as he kicked me again, why did I get pregnant? Oh yeah this wasn't planned! I mentally cursed Spencer out as JJ wheeled me to the elevator, I mean thank god for wheely office chairs I guess.

"JJ he cannot come right now.." I groaned.
"You don't get to choose when the baby comes y/n." JJ laughed.
"This isn't funny!" I hissed.
"I never said it was funny y/n" JJ said as she helped me into the car.

When we arrived at the hospital I was rushed into the labor and delivery room, apparently I was already 9cm dilated.  I looked at JJ who was still trying to get in contact with Spencer. I sighed as I took deep breaths, the nurse came in and told me I should be ready to go soon at the rate I was going. Soon I heard JJ's voice.

"Spencer finally! Y/N's in labor! get to the hospital now!" JJ demanded.

I sighed and gripped the bed tightly as I waited, 10 minutes later Spencer rushed in. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"I-I'm so sorry I didn't answer" He whispered.
"Well you'll be making up for it!" I hissed.

The doctor came back in to check how dilated I was, she looked up at me and smiled before telling me it was time to start pushing.

"Okay now the next contraction you're gonna need to push hard okay?" The doctor said.
"Y-Yeah" I groaned, before feeling a contraction. I screamed and then pushed.
"I see the head come on y/n one more big push" She spoke.

I took a deep breath, squeezing Spencer's hand as I pushed hard I soon heard a baby start crying. A big smile appeared on my face, I looked to Spencer as we both began to cry. They cleaned him off and had Spencer cut the umbilical cord before bringing him over and handing him to me.

"Hi Leo.." I whispered.
"He has your lips" Spencer smiled.
"I hope he has your brains" I laughed.
"Want me to go get the team?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah of course!" I smiled.

Spencer walked out and came back with the team, everyone gushing over the new baby. I smiled and held him as he slowly opened his eyes.

"Meet Leo Oliver Reid" I said quietly.
"Oh y/n he's adorable-!" Penelope squealed.
"Can I hold him?" JJ asked.
"Yeah of course!" I smiled and handed him to JJ.

Spencer sat on the bed with me, kissing my forehead as he played with my hair. We made that, that little bundle of joy. God he was the cutest, when everyone was done with holding him visiting hours were over and we were getting ready for bed. I let Spencer change him into one of the blue nightgowns we got him and the pair of mittens so he doesn't scratch his face. Spencer climbed into the small hospital bed with me and smiled as he pulled me close.

"He's truly the cutest thing" Spencer whispered.
"He really is.." I replied.
"I can't believe we made that.." Spencer spoke.

We quickly fell asleep, we had a tiring day. Around 4am Leo woke up crying, I slowly woke up and looked around. Spencer woke up and told me he'd bring him over. He did and set him in my arms, I knew he was hungry. I readjusted myself so he could latch on easily and eat, I held him as he ate. Spencer watched in awe, he still laid beside me. As we let him eat, Spencer grabbed my hand and just held it. A small gesture but the small gesture made me the happiest girl on the earth and I couldn't ask for more. When he was done I burped him and he fell asleep so Spencer put him back in the bassinet.

A MONTH LATER

We were beginning to get adjusted to life with a newborn. We were exhausted but when we looked at his little face it made it all worth it. Looking at him more he had Spencer's nose but my eyes and lips, but I could already tell he was getting his dada's hair. I was cooking breakfast while Spencer was reading to him, I loved that he made it his job to read to him every night and every moment he had free. When breakfast was done I plated it and I walked over to him, sitting besides him.

"Spence breakfast is ready.." I whispered.
"I know..he's just so precious.." He replied.

I laughed before kissing them both on the forehead. I got up and made my way to the kitchen beginning to eat, knowing that Leo will need to eat soon. I have the times he eats memorized like no other, 2am, 6am, 9am, nap, 11am, playtime, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, bed time, and repeat. As soon as I'm finished it hit 9 o'clock and I gently took Leo from Spencer so Spencer could eat and so that I could feed Leo, I sat down and he latched on rather quickly, suckling away as he ate. I ran my hand over his small head, smiling at how adorable he was. I might have been biased but he was the cutest baby I have ever seen. Babies I have seen have been weird looking, like aliens.

"He's a hungry baby" I laughed.
"Fun Fact, newborns eat every 2 to 3 hours or 8 to 12 times a day" Spencer added.
"Huh..that is one thing I didn't know." I replied.
"You didn't read that book I gave you did you?" He questioned.
"Nope not one page" I laughed.

I was pregnant, I didn't wanna sit down and read. Especially when he would sit on my bladder and I would have to pee every 5 minutes. When Leo was done eating I burped him and began to rock him, singing quietly to him so I could get him down for a nap. He quickly fell asleep and I buckled him into the swing, letting it play a lullaby. I looked at Spence who was cleaning up the kitchen, he was truly the best boyfriend and dada anyone could ever ask for. Truthfully we have been through a lot of shit together but I think that makes us stronger and I can't bring myself to stay mad at him, not for long anyways. When he slept is when we got work done around the house, don't ever believe the saying 'when the baby sleeps you sleep' yeah no that is total bullshit.

"Spence have you seen my work bag?" I whisper yelled.
"Check under our bed." He whisper yelled back.

That's exactly where I checked and that is exactly where it was. I laughed at how he knew where everything was, it was slightly terrifying but at the same time it is gonna be great when we lose a pacifier.
