My fingers fiddled around with the stitching on my blanket. I laid there, staring at the ceiling. Will and Jordan went out and I stayed here. It was nice just to relax for a change.
Ring
I mentally groaned as my phone continued to ring.
Ring ring ring
It repeated itself as I grabbed it and hit the answer button.
"Hello?" I said unenthusiasticly.
"Hi Kate!" It was Hallie.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies tomorrow?" She asked.
"Um..well I-"
"Great! See you there at 6!" The phone hung up. Wow. I didn't feel motivated to go but I'll drag myself there. I grabbed my MacBook of the table and scrolled through the internet. Out of bordem, I started looking around the room. I saw a photo and gently picked it up. A smile spread across my face. It was a photo of me and Jordan hugging Sheiba, our old dog. She was a real sweetheart. My heart ached. I wanted a new dog so bad. I went onto Tumbr, typing in "cute dog" and smiled seeing them. I then grabbed my phone which was charging and texted my Kik baes for a bit before having a midday nap.
♡later♡
I was sat on the sofa scrolling through Tumblr when the door opened.
"Hey" I greeted them, assuming it was Will and Jordan.
"Hii" Jordan said. I looked at them, Will said nothing, he was staring at something on his phone and biting his lip.
"Will?" I asked
"Hm?" He didnt take his even eyes off his phone.
"Oh...nothing." I sighed and went to my room, shutting the door. Maybe I'm over reacting. It's just why wouldn't he greet me? He always comes up to me, hugges me asking me what I did and how I was. I got up and put my converse on and walked out the door with my penny board in my hand, earning confusing looks. I headed to the beach, putting my earphones in and playing my playlist. Riptide came on and I smiled, singing along quietly as I scated. Once I arrived, I put my penny board in the usual place and left it there. I headed down to shores which wasn't too far.
The waves splashed at my feet as I continued to walk. My head was spinning around in a vortex of anger, sadness and jealousy. I store out at the blue sea, walking closer to the water.
