Percy's Pov

Honestly, truly, I don't understand why I keep expecting things to change. I spent my entire summer underground, ending it all with a showdown against Luke. Is it too much to ask for, just one break or summer were I get peace and can actually take a break. To top it all off more and more demigods seem to be rebelling and joining Luke and Kronos. What part of the summer I wasn't getting lost, I was trying to convince the gods to help us. Of course they never listen and came up with the excuse that it'll blow over. I was on my way back to my common room, it had already been 3 days since the beginning of classes. It's just the same old same old, being ignored and causing mischief between the houses. Professor McGonagall had caught onto me creating trouble and always seemed to look at me warily whenever I was alone. The house that I enjoy the most to watch is definitely Ravenclaw. Everyone expects them to be goody two shoes that only care about academics and their grades. They have no idea how wrong they are, if anything half the house couldn't care less. People don't seem to understand that there are different types of intelligence that aren't just school related. I have also made it my mission to help anyone that seems down. I guess after all the stress in the summer I don't like seeing people upset when there is so much that can make you happy, so I have resulted in always looking at everyone's faces, making sure that they were okay. The slytherins always seemed to need the most cheering up, the stress and expectations getting to them. They don't deserve how they're being treated, of course there are those that fit the house expectations and are jerks, but that's the same for every house. The students and faculty of Hogwarts are throwing away an entire batch just because of a few bad apples. Eventually, if people keep treating them like this, they will feel obligated to fulfill the expectations and will start acting like the typical representative for each house. The same thing happens at camp, and no one seems to notice. They treat all children of Aphrodite as shallow and all the children of Ares as brutes, but that's only the select few. I would admire someone if they stepped up and tried to break the stereotypes that are set for them. It's easy to stay in the shadows, it's harder to come to the light, or be the light. That's why I try to be there for everyone, they need to know that someone is there for them, even when they think they have no one left. In the end, I think that's what's going to help us in the war, the people that are willing to sacrifice themselves for others. It's those tough calls that will always haunt everyone else, but they are necessary. I'm not even going to pretend as if there isn't a war that's going to happen, it's pretty obvious that it is, I just wish that I wasn't caught in the middle of it. I had been so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't notice that I had gotten lost. I guess it was one of those staircases that I had passed. I turned around and tried to retrace my steps until I heard some people talking,

"Come on guys, it's the best we can do for him. It's the only way for us to be there for him during the full moons." I immediately knew who they were and what they were talking about. The whole being invisible thing has helped me discover a lot of secrets. Especially a specific someone's furry little problem as the others in the group referred to it.

"I don't know mate, it's illegal and we could be thrown into Azkaban. Not to mention if something goes wrong we can't go to anyone for help." I figured out exactly what they were planning to do, and decided to intervene. They wouldn't remember anyway, so I walk right in front of them. I clear my throat, effectively bringing their attention to me. The second they saw me their faces paled, and they looked shocked.

"I wouldn't say you'd have no one." This took them out of their shocked states.

"How much of that did you hear?" The infamous James Potter says.

"Enough. I know your going to try to become animagi to help Lupin with his furry little problem." At this they paled even more, if that was even possible. "Oh please, you can't really expect no one to know. You arent as discreet as you think you are." They all took a step back. Potter looked at me in the eyes and seemed to recognize me. I wasn't surprised, I already knew that the second they see me they remember every other time they've ever seen me. Which isn't as much as you would think, with the whole mist thing.

"It's you, the one that did the big prank last year."

"Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner! I'm glad someone caught onto it. Now-" I was interrupted by Pettigrew

"How!?! You're a Hufflepuff, aren't you guys supposed to be innocent?"

"Ugh, not the house stereotypes. I despise those. Back to what I was saying, know that if you ever need help with your whole illegal problem, you can come to me. Although I doubt that you'll be able to remember me." I muttered the last part, and with that I turned around. Not needing to look back to know that their mouths were open and their eyes were as large as saucers. I walked back to my common room, ready for the next day of school. I wasn't expecting them to remember anything. No one ever does, because I am ignored and invisible, only seen by those who really want to.
