Kibutsuji Muzan x Daughter Reader

SICK DAY

In the morning, usually (Y/n) would greet the upper moons early in the morning, in the kitchen but today was different. "Ara? No greeting from the little human today" Douma said.

Muzan arrived and asked if where was his daughter.  "I have to rush in my cult. I'll be going now" Douma left. Muzan went to her room and saw (Y/n) just lying on the bed look stiff.

He woke her up and (Y/n) whined. "Sweetheart, are you okay?" "My head and body hurt," she said while touching her head. "I think you have a fever. Lemme check your temperature" Muzan grabbed a thermometer to checked her temperature  "39 degrees"

No one can take care of her at that time because all of the Upper Moons were on a mission at that time and, He cannot entrust (Y/n) to the other demons besides them because of how useless they are to him.

"If you are busy I can just take care of myself" she tried to stand up but *cough*

"Just lie down there and rest. I will be taking care of you, okay?"

Muzan remembered himself a thousand years ago when he was a sick human. People would disgust him and only his doctor managed to take care of him. Well, he killed him.

Now that he was seeing this to his daughter reminded him of himself. "I will make you a soup and bring you medicine just lie down" (Y/n) lay down as Muzan told her.

He went to the kitchen to make her soup and to bring her medicine. When he came back to her room, (Y/n) sat up as Muzan tried to feed her "And the last one, very good" and he patted her head.

After (Y/n) are and take her medicine, she laid down and Muzan placed a cooling pad on her forehead. "Daddy, I promised to Kuroo that I would play with him today. Can you pick him up, please?"

"Nope. He will get a fever too if you play with him with your current condition right now. Have a rest first so you two can play again okay?" Muzan gave her a peck on the forehead before he left the room as (Y/n) fell asleep.

The night time came, Muzan was in his office shapeshifting as a child and he was reading a book when Akaza came to his office. He reported about his mission on the train, that he killed the flame pillar but Muzan was still frustrated that Akaza didn't kill the boy wearing the hanafuda-earings which is the main target

Muzan tried to calm himself before checking on his daughter. When he entered there, she was already awake. (Y/n) noticed the appearance of Muzan he shape-shifted to a little child.

"You said that you wanted to play right? Since I don't get sick. I will be the one who would play with you" (Y/n) smiled happily.

"But, are you feeling well now?" he asked, sitting on the side of her bed. "A little bit. My body is not that hurt anymore"  They played some card games. While they were playing, (Y/n) noticed the frustrated face of Muzan even though he was smiling during their game.

She asked if he was okay "I'm fine, sweetheart " "Do you want me to hug you?"

"You don't have to ask"  she dropped her cards she was holding and, wrapped her arms around him as Muzan did the same thing. He felt warm and relieved, he cannot help to wear a genuine smile on his face.

"Daddy, can you sleep with me tonight?" "Sure, sweetheart. Close your eyes first" (Y/n) did close her eyes. When she opened her eyes again, she saw that Muzan shape-shifted to his original form.

"Wait, have you eaten your dinner and take your medicine?" "Yeah!" Muzan patted her head "Very good"

They laid down together, Muzan patted her until she fell asleep. He stayed with her until the morning she woke up.

The next morning, when (Y/n) woke up, she felt better. She immediately rushed to the kitchen to greet the upper moons "GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!" "Guess who is back,"  Akaza said. "Good morning, little one" Douma greeted. "Are you feeling well now?" Daki asked while Nakime on the other hand was playing his biwa.

"Yeah! Thanks to Daddy. He took care of me very well"

Everyone from the fortress was glad that she is fine and gets to play with her again.
