Ch.16 Thinking About You

EMMA'S POV
"Alright everyone! We worked hard for today, let's go to bed" I said to them. We currently cleaned up this new house minerva told us to stay in and by surprise someone was here too, he didn't want to say his name tho but it was okay he probably has a reason

"Emma, i'll go out for a while again" Ray said and grabbed some useful weapons just in case he encounters some of the demons who are currently guarding our location

"Oi kid, committing suicide?" The man i said about earlier said. I chuckled on what he said because suicide best describes Ray anyway

"Tch. Shut up it's none of your business" Ray said with a scowl on his face, haaa of course he's grumpy, Ray climbed in the ladder then opened the seal door that was attached then went out

"Why is he always on patrol? We have cameras outside and are working perfectly fine" The old man said and looked at me, i looked at him back and replied "Well he always talks to our siblings" I said with a smile, he stared at me for a good seconds and replied "You...you have more siblings outside??? What the- bring them in!" He said letting go of his gun

I chuckled at stopped him "Haha that's not what i mean, i mean our sibling who...you know...got shipped" I said then looked down, He stopped panicking then made a "o" mouth "Oh well sorry to hear that kid...,but how does he talk to them?" He said then sat down. I followed him and sat beside him

"Well Norman, The most smartest out of all the kids in Grace field. He's someone important to Ray i mean he always wanted to beat him in chess, he did beat him tho but that was only a single time. He hoped to take him down for more rounds...and...Y/N...well you can say she's the reason why Ray is still alive for 12 years pfft-, he talks to Norman looking at the moon and for Y/N the stars. He said him and Y/N are soulmates? I don't know really" I said and looked at him

His eyes widened when I finished "Soulmate huh, bet this girl is the best out of all then" He said then looked straight forward, "Mhm she's athletic and smart, but Norman is out league so i guess he has advantage" I said remembering about Norman

RAY'S POV
I quickly got out and sat down looking up. "Hey Norman, im back it's hard without you" I said bluntly then looked at the stars "Huh?" I said and looked closer "What...why is there no stars?" I stood up to get a closer look "Not even small ones?" I said confused

"Ray" Somebody called, i looked behind me quickly i looked around and notice a tree, 'ehh? Since when did this place had a tree? Wasn't this place empty?" I backed a little just incase. I saw someone peek out, i raised my gun and checked where to aim. While looking where to aim there came out a girl with a white dress

After getting a clear view i immediately recognized who it is, i dropped my gun and saw her for real. "Y-Y/N.." I said coming closer slowly, She had a smile on her face oh that smile is what i was longing for "Y/N!" I runned up to her only to be past her. "What?" I turned around and still see her smiling

"Ray, Your still stupid..." Y/N said. "What? What do you mean?? Why can't i touch you???" I said and grabbed her hand only for it to be untouchable, I looked up to her and saw someone behind her

"Isn't obvious Ray" An albino said "Norman..." I said "What do you mean obvious???? I don't understand!" I said breaking out

Y/N sighed then went closer to me "Ray, we can only visit you guys in this way we cannot meet for now. So this is the best" She said then rubbed my hand. "B-but why can't i touch you? Even Norman?" I said shaking forgetting about her touch "I'm not sure, but you guys did your best staying alive until now. Don't give up" She said with a serious face
I starred at her for long again and decided to speak up

"If I can't touch you and you can...can you..." I said hesitant, she looked at me and titled her head. 'Goddamit that was cute' i took a glance remembering Norman was here, seeing his presence made me flustered so i spread both of my arms in front of Y/N

"Please.." Was the only thing i said, she looked at me again and this time smiled. She entered both my touch and placed both of her arms in my neck, my arms traveled down her waist. "I miss you dummy" i said and hid my face in the crook of her neck, she giggled "Me too Ray" she replied. After a few more she let go

"Well it's time, better visit you again she said. It made me sad she can't stay any longer but i understand "Sure then, Visit again...Also you Norman" I said, Norman shot his eyes opened then smile "Will do" and with that they vanished into thin air like dust

I stood there for a couple more minutes then went back inside, after climbing back down Emma was there at the table sitting down with water on her hands

"What did you day to the both of them this time?" She said and handed me the water, I accepted it and took a sip

"Nothing much, just like what i always say" I said then thanked her, "Ok then. You better dream about your soulmate!" Emma said then giggled running back upstairs, i turned red on what she did then smiled afterwards "Of course i should."
