Ch.8 Soulmates

RAY'S POV
I waited for Y/N and Emma to head back while Me and Norman are going to "Talk" about this stupid idea of Emma's
"So what do you want to talk about Ray?" He said and let out a cocky smile
"Shut up will you?,You know what i mean" I said ready to fight Norman no matter what
"You mean Emma's plan?" He said still quite unsure
"YES! DO YOU KNOW HOW STUPID THAT IS?? BRING EVERYONE?! ARE YOU SICK IN THE MIND OR SOMETHING??" I said bursting out my anger on how Norman is literally mocking me
"Yes, It's stupid. But that's what she wants." He said and smile. I didn't hesitate no more and went to Norman grabbed his collar straight
"WHY? WHY ARE YOU GONNA GO WITH HER PLAN?" I said
"Because i like her" Smilingly proud on what he said
"Wha- what?" I letted go of his collar. "What do you mean?"
"If that means saving her then i will do what it takes. Because i like her and i know you will do the same for Y/N"
He said eyeing me closely
"WHAT? I don't like her! I hate her, she's annoying and stupid!" I turned my face to the side feeling the heat rise up in my cheeks
"Hmm? It's obvious you know?" Dumbfounded about my response
"What...Really???" I THOUGHT IT WASN'T! DOES SHE KNOW ALREADY OH GOD
"Haha calm down Ray, it's actually not obvious and i was joking...But I didn't know you actually like her"
Norman said actually surprised
"Your actually the worst. I hate you" And with that i left him
"Wait! Ray hold up!" Norman said trying to catch up with Ray.

Y/N'S POV
While Norman and Ray had there talk, I was comforting Emma
"I told you its ok. Ray is talking to the one and only NORMAN i repeat NORMAN" i said trying to cheer her up
"But what if-" She got cut off by me
"SHUSH! Your too negative right now eh?" I looked at her, then she gave me back a frown. Aha! I know exactly what to do to help her cheer up
"Hey Emma" i said
"Hmm" she hummed in response
"I spy with my little eyes something..White!" I said hopefully to make her smile. Surprisingly Emma gave me her signature smile.
"YOUR GAME! Uhmm something white huh?...aaa OH! Our uniform!" She said very excited.
"Yes! Your right!" I exclaimed which caused both of us to giggle
"Btw Y/N how did you know that game? I never heard of it" Emma said and turned to me
"Uhm actually Me and Ray were reading a book together back when we were 6"

FLASHBACK (Y/N'S POV)
Me and Ray are in the library right now reading a book
"Ray puh-leaseee let's read this oneeee" i whined which annoyed Ray
"Tch, Fine what is that even" He said and took a peep. I smiled wildy
"It's about soulmates!!" I said and showed him the book cover
"Soulmates?, What's that? A dead person inlove with a dead person?" He said curious
I frowned at him "Nooo it's not, soulmate means it's about someone you deeply care about with understand and unconditional love!" I said and remember the other story about soulmates.
"So your trying to say is that anyone you care about is your soulmate?" He said
"Yep!" I said
"So your my soulmate then" He said and faced me
"I am?" I looked back at him "Why?" I said confuse
"Dummy, you said it's when you care about someone differently ofcourse and i care about you the most"
He finished his sentence with tinted pink cheeks
"Hmm THEN YOUR MY SOULMATE TOO!" I said happily
"Really ok then." He also said happily

While reading through the book the characters were playing a game called " I spy with my little eyes"
"Ray look that looks fun" Y/N said
"Your right, I never knew a game like this existed" Ray replied.

PRESENT TIME (Y/N'S POV)

"Aww that's a really cute way to know a game!" Emma said while listening to my story
"I know right? I almost forgot about it tho" Y/N said disappointed
"About soulmates...If Ray is your soulmate and Your soulmate is Ray... who's mine?" She said
"Hmm you care about Norman right? And about care i mean differently" I said giving a try
"Oh uhm maybeeee?" Emma said shyly
I smiled at her
"Then Norman Is your soulmate!" I said excitedly
"Really? Then I'm also Norman's soulmate?" She said hopefully
"Of course" I said and winked at her

"What are you guys talking about?" Norman said tiredly heading back to us
"Oh nothing, hbu two? What did you talk about besides the plan?" My question made Ray flustered
"Nothing stupid" Ray said to me. Which made me upset then made him a face with my tongue out
"Whatever "sTupiD" Ray" I said mocking him
"Tch you-" Ray said heading towards me. But before he could Norman grabbed him
"Ok enough you two, its lunch time" Norman said sternly
And with that we both made a face at each other.
