We are us and i love it

We stayed like this forever. She fell asleep on top of my head. I held her close. I pulled her up slightly so she wouldn't wake up. I laid her on the bed and tucked her in. I got behind her and spooned her. I fell asleep. I woke up and Meredith was staring at me smiling. She leaned in and kissed my lips. She backed up and put her hand on my cheek.

"She's leaving" I smiled

She took her hand off

"So what happened" she said

"So I came in and helped her research. I told her what to do and she came behind me when I was sitting down. She put her hand on my shoulder and kissed my cheek. She told me thank you and I said wait" I said

I saw a tear in Merediths face. I had to tell her the truth

"Meredith-" I said putting my hand on her cheek and rubbing it

She got up and stared at me angrily

"Come back down" I said

"No" she yelled back

I got up

"Meredith I love you, you know that. I told her to wait because she forgot her medicine in a capsule. She came up to me and kissed me. I am so sorry that I didn't pull away. I don't know what happened. She- I don't know. It's all my fault and I will apologize for the rest of my life for it" I said in front of her.

I took her hand and pulled her close to me.

I hugged her tight.

"I um have to go to the bakery" I said tearing up.

I walked out and went to the car. I ordered a cake for Meredith just because I love her. I got in my car and started driving. The rain was kind of slick on the road. I slid through a stop light and a car came. I went black.

Meredith's POV

I walked up of my room and wiped my eyes. I went to do charts and put my hand on my stomach. Christina came behind me

"Hey" she said

"Hi" I said

"Do you want to go to joes tonight and grab some tequila" she said

I didn't tell her I was pregnant

"I cant" I said smiling at her

"Meredith yes you can. Why?" She said

"Because I'm pregnant" I smiled

"Meredith grey you have way too many kids" she said smiling and walking away.

"Meet me at joes no matter what" she said down the hallway

I laughed and nodded

I walked into my surgery on a collapsed lung. I quickly scrubbed in and ran to the table. I cut her open and was in the middle of fixing her.

"Dr. Grey Bailey is paging you 911" a nurse said

"I'm in the middle of my surgery. Is it important" I asked

"Very" she said

"Ok let me-" I said fixing her lung

I fixed it and grabbed a third year resident. I told her to stitch.

I scrubbed out and ran to the ER. I got there and everyone was around. I walked around the corner. Christina ran in front of me. I saw him in the middle.

"Meredith you need to stay calm. No stress. Meredith I promise you don't do anything" she said genuinely and holding me back

I started crying. I ran to the room and got in. Bailey was on top of him doing CPR.

"Derek shepherd, 41, ran a red light and got hit, only one who survived" a intern said

"The only one who had a chance at survival. Stay with me shepherd" she said tearing up

I started crying and the table started moving.

"Move it" Bailey yelled at everyone in the way.

She left and went straight to the OR

I went up to the gallery and watched them. About 4 hours passed and I was crying silently the whole time. Christina was comforting me. His BP started to drop. He flatlined. I felt something in my abdomen. I knew what was happening. I ran out of the gallery and ran to the bathroom. I threw up in the toilet. Someone came in.

"Mer are you alright" Christina said

"No somethings happening" i said tearing up

I put my head in the toilet and didn't move. I got up after awhile of emptying my insides. I flushed and walked out. I washed my hands.

"Derek always held my hair with my pregnancies" I said tearing up and grabbing a paper towel.

I dried my hands

"Oh Mer I'm so sorry" she said hugging me

"Oh you stink though. Take a shower" she said

We walked to the locker room.

"I'm going to get you some fresh scrubs" Christina said

She left and I turned on the water. I undressed and looked at myself in the mirror. I saw a hickey on my neck.

"Damn it derek" I smiled to myself

My eyes were dark and I couldn't see green. All I saw was black. I teared up and walked into the shower. I put my head down and felt hands on my back. I moaned slightly. I turned around. Derek.

"Derek hi" I said

"Hey my love" he said back

He took my waist and pulled my close to him. He leaned down and sucked my bottom lip. I opened my mouth and he put his tongue in. Our tongues danced together like we were the only things holding each other. I pulled my legs around his waist and started kissing my neck. He took his member and slid me on top of him. He thrusted inside of me and I bounced. I put my fingers in his back and I felt my eyes start to roll back.

"Mmm Derek" I moaned

"Meredith" he moaned back

I was bouncing with him and felt myself release. He took me off of him and put my feet on the ground. He put his arm by my face and I was pinned to the wall.

"Derek" I said rubbing the muscles down his arm.

He leaned in and sucked on my neck. I closed my eyes and put my hands around his hair to pull him in. Someone walked in the locker room. I opened my eyes and he was gone.

"Mer when you're done the scrubs are on the sink" Christina said

What is going on? Did I just fantasize about Derek?

I looked down and watched liquids go down my thigh. Did I? To myself? Did Christina hear anything?

I washed my hair and got out of the shower. I dried off and put my clothes on. I wrapped my hair in the towel. I walked out.

"Christina have you heard anything" I asked

She looked at me like she knew something bad

I sat down

"Yes Mer they got a brain scan and it showed a lot of fluid built in his brain. They put him on a vent and they won't know when or if he will wake up what his brain function is" she said seriously to me

I felt myself start to cry.

She came over and hugged me. I laid my head on her shoulder
