It's been almost 2 months since I broke up with Khalil and I honestly feel a little better

I started focusing on myself and yes it's been hard but I'm pushing through

I still live with Laila and of course I love it she's been my biggest supporter through all of this along with Tay

Today I have classes in person so I got out the bed and got ready

"Good morning" I said to Laila

"Good morning" she said back

"I got classes today so I'll be home around one"

"Okay be safe love you" she said

"Love you more" I said and walked out the door

I got in my car and drove off heading to my school. After pulling into the parking lot I got out walked to my class

I walked into my class and saw my professor talking about criminal justice

I took a seat and got situated then started jotting down notes in my notebook

"Can anyone tell me the most important key when looking into a murder" my professor asked

It was quite, no one raised their hand to answer or said anything.

"Oh come onnnn I know you guys know this" My professor said

"The most important is to process the scene and everything around it then try to figure out the motive behind it" someone from the back said

I turned around and saw a tall lightskin boy he had on basketball shorts with a black tee shirt and his hair was all big like a afro kinda

"Good job Mr. William" The professor said to him

"Ms. Stevenson would you agree with what Mr.William said?" she asked me

Damn why the hell this bitch call on me out of all the people in here

"Um I actually think profiling would be a better way to find out the motive. Recreating what may have happened gives you a clear visual on the victim and suspect" I said

"But how can you profile something without processing it first? That's saying you can walk before you crawl" The boy from earlier said
