The next few days were just boring at school. Eva and Miguel trained with Johnny everyday. She noticed that Miguel was getting better at karate. Him and Eva got more close, after she joined the dojo. They were best friends now. Sometimes after training Miguel and Eva stayed there. They danced and listened to music sometimes. It was actually really fun. Miguel was the first person ever, who actually made Eva feel like someone.

Eva slowly opened her eyes, as the bright sunlight shone into her eyes. This time she couldn't hear the annoying voice of Demetri. When she sat up on the bed and looked around for no reason, her eyes caught the white clock on her night desk. Eva was late. Very late. She jumped outside of her bed and headed to the bathroom in a rush, almost falling on her way there. After doing her daily morning routine she quickly changed and got ready. She was wearing a sky blue top and a white printed skirt. At the end she put an oversized jean jacket on. Her clothing style matched the weather. Afterall it was summer.

Eva entered the school and the hallway was all empty. All the students were in their classrooms. Eva reached her classroom and knocked at the door nervously. Never was she this late before. She slowly opened the door. "Sorry i'm late" She said apologic and walked towards her seat. Miguel was sitting next to her seat, playing around with his pencil. They smiled at each other, as Eva took her seat. The rest of the class was staring at her. "This should be the last time you're late Ms. Perry" The teacher said with a raised eyebrow. Eva nodded.

"Look who showed up," Miguel whispered with a smile. "Sorry, I was having a good sleep and I didn't even notice that I was late. Plus, Demetri didn't even wake me up" she said, rolling her eyes at the thought that she was late because of her annoying brother.. Miguel giggled. And that was when she noticed the shy boy staring at her. She nervously smiled at Eli and he quickly smiled back, before paying attention to the teacher again. She couldn't help but blush. Eva pushed a piece of hair behind her ear and suddenly got interrupted by Miguel.

"So did you find any costume for tomorrow?" He tapped on her shoulder softly. "Oh shit! I totally forgot that'' Eva whispered and almost everyone could hear her. She had totally forgotten about the big day tomorrow. "I'm gonna go shopping after school. Wanna come?" She asked him. "Sorry, I'm hanging out with sensei after school '' Miguel told her with an apologetic look. "No It's totally fine" She smiled at him. A part of her wanted to ask Eli, but then another part of her was afraid of rejection.

"I think i'm gonna go as deadpool" Miguel told Eva while they were heading to their table in the cafeteria. "Oh that's cool. I love deadpool". She said while taking a seat next to Eli. Miguel sat beside her from the other side. Now she was sitting between both Eli and Miguel. "Hey Eli" She smiled at him and placed the tray on the table. "H-Hey" He answered nervously.

"So...are you guys excited for tomorrow?" Eva asked the three boys. "Yeah, I can't wait!" Miguel answered. She smiled at him. Eli looked at both of them and suddenly a burning feeling appeared in his stomach. As if he was jealous of something....or someone. He disappointedly lowered his look and tried to hide his red face.

Once they got out of the school, Eva was walking with Miguel and Eli. Eli was very quiet as usual and so was Miguel. Eva was a little surprised by Miguel's silence. He wasn't not used to silence. Miguel usually talked 24/7. "I'll talk to you guys later" Miguel said and quickly hugged Eva which was unexpected. He trapped her arms and didn't really give her the opportunity to hug him back. She looked at Eli who looked away immediately. The tall boy with brown eyes let go of her and looked her in the eyes. "Bye Eva" He smiled and walked towards his apartment. "Bye, Miguel '' She said quietly, when he had already reached the door to his apartment. He didn't hear Eva and closed the door behind him. What just happened?

Eli was standing right next to Eva. He was so quiet that she didn't even notice him standing there. She smiled at him nervously and he smiled back at her. "So uhm...I wanted to ask you something," Eva told him nervously. He looked her in the eyes. Her heart started beating fast, as she for the first time looked him directly in the eyes. She had butterflies in her stomach. "I was going shopping. So I just wanted to ask if you wanted to come with me...Not that you have to or something. I just-" Eva couldn't talk because of her nervousness. She kept stuttering and her face was red like a tomato.

He smiled at the nervous brown haired girl. "W-Why not?" He told her with a cute smile. "Really? Great then. Let's go" She said excitedly and grabbed his hand softly, without asking him for permission. She led him to the store and she was laughing and talking about how excited she was for the halloween party tomorrow. He didn't listen to what he said. Eli's focus was on the beautiful girl with shiny brown eyes. His heart started beating even faster when he saw Eva's hand on his. Everything felt like slow motion. And a few minutes later he didn't even notice that they were standing in front of the shop. She grabbed his hand tightly and walked inside the store.

"So what are you gonna be for the halloween party tomorrow?" Eva asked him while her eyes were on all the beautiful costumes, hanging there. "I-I don't...know y-yet" Eli answered nervously.

"Omg!" Eva almost screamed, so that the whole store could hear her. Eli flinched. "W-What happened?" He asked her, worried. Eva's eyes caught a beautiful costume. "I'm getting that costume no matter what!" She said excitedly. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the costume. "T-That one?" He asked her confusedly. "Yeah it's cute right" Eva said and grabbed the costume. She loved parties and she was literally an expert with costumes. But for Eli that costume was a little too...skin showing?

They were both standing outside Eva's apartment, and Eli was looking her directly in the eyes, making her heartbeat go faster. They've just been standing there for about 5 minutes without saying anything. She couldn't help but blush. Her face was burning like fire and no matter how much she tried to hide it, he would see it. He smiled as he noticed that a girl actually blushed because of him. It was like a dream for him. "Uhm, I'll see you tomorrow then?" Eva nervously broke the silence as she was about to get a heart attack. "Okay" He said calmly. Eli didn't really know what to say. She smiled at him and walked away towards her door. He was still standing there and looking at her. She turned around and saw him smiling at her.

Eva walked back to Eli quickly and put her arms around his neck. He nervously placed his arms around her. "Bye" Part of her regretted that she hugged him, while another part of her was proud of herself. him. Both of their hearts were beating fast and they had butterflies on their stomachs. She let go of him and saw his red face. "B-Bye," Eli couldn't believe that he actually hugged a girl. He was surprised. Eva turned around and walked toward her door with a smile on her face.

When she closed the door she saw Demetri on the couch with his phone. He was playing a video game as always. "What's that?" He asked her while looking at the bag in her hand. "Nothing, it's just a costume for tomorrow" She answered and walked towards her bedroom to take a quick shower.

She got out of the bathroom after changing and jumped on her bed. Eva was really tired. And while she was thinking about her moment with Eli, she slowly fell asleep on her bed.
