I was incredibly happy when I discovered a Minecraft SMP server for Bedrock edition. I only had mcpe on my mobile device, but I was planning on buying Java edition on my laptop once I had received enough money.

I was sent an invite to a Discord server where we could communicate with all the different players and discuss the storyline. The server to be a realm which was sadly rather expensive in my country, but I bought it anyway. This would be a fun experience.

Upon the next day, I realized that the realm link was sent whilst I was asleep. Silently cursing at myself, I pressed the link and got the realm up and running and hopped on.

The server had a nice spawn in a field beside an oak and birch forest and right across a river was a village. Of course, that's where I headed first. I checked the left over chests to see if anything was left, but sadly, there was nothing. Fortunately, nobody had taken the flowers yet, so I quickly got a bit of each flower type I could find.

I ended up gathering wood and crafted some tools and quickly upgraded to stone tools and gathered some coal and even tamed myself 2 cats before nightfall. But as the noob I am, I died a few times before deciding to remain in one of the village houses till day time.

When the sun arose I chose a decent sized house as a temporary shelter as I gathered more tools. I ended up running into another player on the server and they ended up giving me many items they received on their travels. Sy, is their name.

I ended up choosing a nice spot not too far from the village inside a spruce forest beside a lake. I quickly cleared out a nice area before digging into a cliff side to shelter there while my house was still incomplete. The transferring of my items was a tad tricky for me, as nightfall approached sooner as expected, but I managed luckily and even ended up collecting some bones for potential wolves I might come across.

As the next in game day arrived I got right to building my house so I wouldn't have to live in a low budget cave. I ended up using a tutorial and got quite far before I realized that the door was facing the incorrect direction. Unfortunately it wasn't an easy fix and I had to take down the whole thing to fix it. But I felt tired and decided to log off, making a few quick notes about what I had planned for the next day.
