PJ jolted, "Wait, what? Cray?"

He held his cup of coffee, sighing, "Had a feeling you would mention that... I actually spoke with him a while ago... he sounded like he was really adamant about Goth being let off early today... but, I denied. Goth is needed here."

"I'm surprised nothing went wrong so far, to be honest... and I know for a fact Cray feels for Goth in that way... but, don't worry..."

PJ smiled, "I think... Palette can handle it on his own..."

Later that day, Palette and Goth:

"So, it's a gorgeous day, isn't it?" Palette smiled.

Goth nodded, "Mmhm! It is!-"

"Goth!" Cray exclaimed, running over.

Palette jolted slightly, "Who the heck-?!"

"Palette, this is Cray. The friend I mentioned earlier." Goth smiled.

Cray glared at Palette subtly, covering it up with a tight smile, "It's nice to meet ya, buddy..."

"I'm Palette... Palette Roller..." he smiled, small growls heard under his breath.

Goth smiled, "Hey, Cray, Palette and I were about to go grab some ice cream... you and I can-"

"How about I come with you? I have no other plans for this afternoon anyway." Cray smiled at Goth, who smiled nervously back.

"Uh... sure...! Why not?"

Palette and Cray, when Goth walked ahead, had a bit of a stare down.

"I'm watching you, buddy..." Cray growled.

"I'm doing the same with you..." Palette grunted back.

"Well, I'm not a threat here..."

"I think you are..."

"Guys!" Goth called. "Are you two coming, or not?! Hehe!"

Palette and Cray both blushed, but Palette answered first.

"Coming, Gothy!" And he smirked at a very mad Cray, before running to catch up.

"Hmph... if he thinks he has a chance, he's dead wrong..." Cray ran up to the two, smiling tightly at Palette.

Goth, completely oblivious, smiled, "I'm glad my two besties are getting along... Palette is still a bestie, even if we are together..."

Oh boy, this could only end badly for someone...
