Lillian's Perspective:

We never made it to Shell Cottage. I tried to get the three of us there, but George wouldn't have it. We ended up back at the wedding, almost in the midst of the chaos.

"Why?" I hissed.

"We need supplies, clothing, stuff to do, and Anna, and probably your parents," he whispered. "Wouldn't you want them to hide with us to get them off the map?"

"Fine, but hurry," I said.

While the twins ran ahead of me to pack, I searched the crowd for Anna. I found her quickly, apparated to her side, grabbed her arm, and apparated to the dark side of the Burrow.

"We're leaving right now," I said. "Lindsay told us too, and we need to be safe."

She didn't object, merely nodded.

We ran into the house, packing quickly, and once we had everything, we exited the Burrow and apparated to my house.

I quickly explained our circumstances and demanded my parents come with me. They objected, but I didn't listen. I needed to get them off the same street as the Dark Lord.

Finally, we apparated to Shell Cottage and entered the home, making up beds and finding food to eat. Bill and Fleur weren't home, and we'd suspected we might have a problem, but it didn't matter. This was war, and Voldemort was after us. Their house was the only place off the map.

After settling in and discussing everything with Bill and Fleur when they got home, we all, except the new married couple, sat in the living room.

I glanced at my mother.

"Thank you for bringing us," she said softly.

I nodded, playing with the engagement ring on my finger. I was looking at the ring, still trying to process what had happened. I hadn't thought it was appropriate to tell anyone just yet. After all, we had just escaped a chaotic fight with the Death Eaters.

"Is that what I think it is?" Mother asked softly.

I nodded again.

"Fred?" She asked.

This time, Fred nodded, and he gave me a look full of pure affection. He kissed the side of my head.

Father looked happy. "I approve."

Anna hugged me and smiled. "Congratulations."

"Lindsay is too," I said. "But, for obvious reasons, she couldn't be here."

George looked down sadly.

"Well, I think we should celebrate," Bill said from the doorway.

"You heard that?" Fred asked, his face turning red.

Bill nodded. "And you best tell mum before someone else does or she'll be mad you didn't."

We laughed.

"Now, everyone into the kitchen for dinner and drinks," he said, and, even without Lindsay, the small celebration lifted all our spirits. Even George, who had been in the deepest pit. We then came to the conclusion that we'd celebrate our engagement with Lindsay once the war was over, and then our wedding would quickly follow.

I took a very hot bath that night, trying to calm myself down. I needed to think through everything so that I could accept all that had happened. I pulled on a nightgown once I was dry, and crawled into bed. The room I shared with Fred, George, and Anna was very small, but Fred and I always slept together anyway, so that gave George a little more room on the floor, and Anna took the bed I wasn't using.
