Awkwardness was the only way to express how Yunho and Lina felt throughout their tutoring session. The only times they spoke was when Lina was explaining a subject and when Yunho asked a question. Neither knew why the other was acting that way, and it was starting to become frustrating.

While Yunho was completing a worksheet, Lina decided to use that time to text on the newly made group chat like she was meant to earlier.

Lina
I actually have the perfect idea

with

"Who are you texting?" Yunho asked, making the girl put her phone down after explaining the idea.

"Just...Yeosang." She lied.

Yunho put his pen down and looked Lina in the eye for the first time that day. "What's the deal with that?"

"With what?"

"You know what I'm talking about. Since when did you and Yeosang have a thing. It just doesn't make sense to me."

"It was just sudden, okay."

"You really confuse me, Seo Lina. One minute you're completely against the simple idea of committing to someone and now you're in a relationship with one of my close friends."

"I was never against the idea of having a boyfriend. And I've liked Yeosang for as long as I've known him."

"What about us?" His voice broke. He couldn't even look her in the eye.

Lina's heart ached at his tone. He was hurt and she could tell. But what he didn't realise, she was hurting too. She was tired of the threats and the constant fear of not knowing wether she would make it out of school without being in pain. She wanted to tell him, tell him that the relationship was fake and it was only because of Jennie's jealousy, but the words wouldn't form on her tongue. Instead she chose to be selfish. She wanted to have Yunho and make sure he never left her again.

"There was never an us. Just friends with benefits, nothing more. You knew that."

"But I guess that's over now too?"

She lowered her head and nodded. "It's a good thing there was no feelings attached, right?" It was a rhetorical question but she still craved the answer.

On the other hand, Yunho was just trying to rid the feeling of his heart being squeezed tighter and tighter after every word she spoke.

It wasn't supposed to be this way. They were meant to make each other feel good. Nothing more. But why did it hurt so much to let it go? "Right." He mused.

He shook his head internally and picked his pen back up, tapping the end on the paper he was working on. "So, erm...a catalyst. It's like the start up, right?"

"Why don't we get you a girlfriend." She drove completely off topic, but she chose to use this time to fill Jennie in.

Yunho just looked at the girl dumbfounded. He didn't want a girlfriend. "No."

"Just think about it. A girlfriend would solve all your problems. Someone you can confide in and someone to make you happy."

"But I already have you."

Lina sighed. "But I'm your friend who is now taken. If you get a girlfriend, you get the extras."

"I don't care about that stuff. I have my friends."

You're being a real pain in the ass right now, Jeong Yunho. Just say fucking yes so I can get the bitch out of my hair. "I think you're just scared." She had resulted in hurting his proud.

Yunho scoffed. "Scared of what? Having a girl cling to me, making me text her every twenty minutes and someone I'd have to drive around everywhere and spend all my money on? If so, then I'm happy staying single."

"No. I think you're scared of commitment."

"I know your tricks, Lina. Whatever you're doing isn't going to work. I don't want a girlfriend, end of story. Full stop. Quit nagging and help me study. I actually want to start senior year instead of being kicked out before I finish this semester."

She huffed and crossed her arms as she watched him continue the work. Okay so that didn't work. But she was set on getting him with Jennie. It was the only cure for her torture.

Then it was like a light bulb just turn on inside her brain. If Yunho won't agree, the she'll just have to get Jennie to make the move first.

She decided to message her on Instagram:

Lina
I have an idea on how to get
you and Yunho together

Jennie
Bitch spill.
