(Lucy POV)
Tomorrow was not great it was raining,
So we couldn't go out side, Edmund was under a chair doing who knows what, Susan had roped Peter into playing a boring game, Leah was sat in bed just staring at Edmund, while I was looking out the window, waiting for the day to be over,
"Gastrovascular come on Peter, Gastrovascular" Susan said "Is it Latin?" Peter said in a bored tone, "Yes"she replied somewhat enthusiastically
"Is it Latin for worst game ever invented" Edmund said whilst We all snickered at this before Susan slammed the book shut glaring at everybody.
Then I walked up to Peter and asked "We could play hide and seek?" But he just responded with
"But we're all ready having so much fun."
He said sarcastically, probably wishing the sun would magically appear from the clouds and stop the torture that was Susan's idea of fun.
"Please" I said, but He didn't respond then I gave him the biggest puppy eyes I could and said  "Please , please" and Then Peter started counting "1...,2...3..." In the shock and rush of it all Edmund yelled "what" And We all got up and sprinted to our hiding places, Susan got in a great , old, wooden chest, Leah hid in a ridiculously high windowsill (no idea how she got up there)  And as I was about to hide behind a curtain, Edmund pushed me out saying "I was here first" and So I ran into a room empty apart from a single tall object with a huge sheet over it.

(3rd Person POV)

As Lucy pulls of the big sheet she sees a beautiful old wardrobe. She looks back to see Peter Is almost done counting, so she opens the wardrobe
And steps inside as she's going back she feels no end just the dimming light of the room through the crack of the door, until she feels a branch full of snow. "Wow" she gasps as she continues to walk down where she sees a lamppost , covered in frost, as she touches it her fingers feel numb and she is somewhat surprised by this. Then she turns around to see somebody or something and they both scream and hide.

(Lucy POV)

I peek my head around the lamppost and so does he, we do this a few times until I come out from behind the lamppost and walk towards him, I pick up a package and hand it to him and I ask " we're you hiding from me?" I was just purely curious as to why he would be scared of me I'm not very big or strong and I don't think I look scary, but he replies in a sort of stutter "well no I just I-I didn't want to scare you" "If you don't mind my asking what are you?" I question,
"Well I'm a faun and what about you, you must be some kind of beardless dwarf" he replied kind of confused  "I'm not a dwarf I'm a girl" I said giggling to myself, "And actually I'm tallest in my class" I say crossing my arms, proud of myself.
"So you mean to say your a daughter of eve?" He asks smiling, eve?, who is eve? I wonder, "My mums name is Helen." I say confused "Yes but you are in fact human" he asks "Yes ofcorse" I say, why wouldn't I be?, what a strange being.

"What are you doing here" he asks, "Well I was hiding in the wardrobe in the spare room" I explained, "Spare Oom? is that in Narnia" he asked as I look at him questionably, Narnia?
"Narnia what's that?" I asked "Well dear girl your in it everything from the lamp to Castle Cair Paravel on the eastern ocean, every stick and stone you see every icicle is Narnia" he says
"It's an awfully big wardrobe" I say, worriedly as I'm most probably lost, "Wardrobe huh? I'm sorry please allow me to introduce myself my name is Tumnus"  he says "Please to meet you Mr Tumnus I'm Lucy Pevensie" I say holding out my hand and He looks at me so I say  "Oh you shake it" "Why?" He asks  "I don't know, people do it when they meet each other" He grabs my hand and swings it we were both laughing at this then he turns to me and says "well then Lucy Pevensie, from the shining city of wardrobe, in the magical land of spare oom how would you like to come have tea with me?" "Well Thank you very much, but I must be getting back" I said "It's only just around the corner, and there'll be a glorious fire, with toast and tea and perhaps we'll even break into the sardines." "Oh I don't know" I say but I don't want to hurt his feelings, "Oh come on it's not everyday I get to make a new friend" he says
"Well I suppose I could come for a little while, if you have sardines"
"By the bucketload" he said as we walked to his house "Wow" I exclaimed "Well here we are come along" he said as I went over to a picture and he said "Now that, that is my father."
"He has a nice face, he looks a lot like you" I said
"No I'm not very much like him at all really"he said rather sadly, "My fathers fighting the war" I said sadly "My father went away to war too, but that was a long, long time ago." He said
"Before this this dreadful winter" he continues
"When does not all bad there's ice skating, snowball fights, oh and Christmas" I said excitedly, I love winter, me, Leah, ed, Susan and Peter have the best times in the snow.
"Not here not anymore, no now we haven't had a Christmas in a hundred years" he said
"What no presents for a hundred years" I asked in shock, no Christmas? "Always winter never Christmas." "It's been a long winter" he said
"But you would of loved Narnia in the summer we fauns danced with dryads all night and we never did get tired and music, oh such music
Would you like to here some now." He asks me
"Oh yes please." I say tea cup in hand,
"Now are you familiar with any Narnian lullabies." He asks "Sorry no" I replied " well that's good cause this probably won't sound anything like one" he said making me laugh
Then he started playing these beautiful sounds on what looked like a flute, the fire roared loudly as it made images of fawns like him dancing It shocked me as I felt my eyes begin to droop as I fell into a deep sleep.

(Still Lucy POV)
I woke up and looked outside it was really dark now, I looked around and said "oh I should go"
" It's too late for that now" Mr Tumnus said I looked at him shocked as he said "I'm such a terrible fawn." "No you're not your the nicest fawn I've ever met" I say trying to Cheer him up,
"Then I'm afraid you've had a poor sampling" why would he say that, that's horrible, "You can't of done anything that bad" I say to him, "It's not something I have done, Lucy pevensie it's something I'm doing " he says through sobs
"What are you doing?" I ask him, "I'm kidnapping you, it was the white witch, she's the one that makes it always winter and always cold, she gave the orders if we ever see a child wandering in the woods we are supposed to turn it over to her" he cries, "But Mr Tumnus you wouldn't, I thought you were my friend"
And suddenly his face changed and with it we left the house I was going home. "Now she may already know your here the woods are full of her spies, even some of the trees at on her side."
"Can you find Your way back from here"
He asked "Yes I think so, will you be alright " I said and He started to cry "Hey hey" I said comfortingly, "I'm sorry I'm so sorry, here" he said passing me back my handkerchief. "Keep it you need it more than I do" I said "No matter what happens Lucy pevensie I am glad to have met you, you have made me feel warmer than I felt in a hundred years" "Now go, go" he said to me and I ran though the trees back to the wardrobe where landed with a thud. I scrambled myself back up and ran saying "It's  alright I'm back, I'm alright"
