5.-Barrier

After lunch I went on a run.
I need to be in my best shape.I want to learn things and to be better and I won't do that by sitting around. I passed by the blue barrier thing and continued to run.
It was refreshing.
I could hear my heart beating.
I could hear leaves crunching underneath my feet.
My hard breathing.
And then something falling.

Wait.
That something is me.And it hurt like hell. I tripped on someone's leg.
Wait what.
"What the fuck?"
I slowly turned around on my back and there he was.
"What the hell are you doing past the barrier Amora?"
"I could ask you the same thing."
"I asked first. "
'Fine .I went on a run , I needed some peace.Why are you here?"
"Oh I just wanted to smoke some weed."
"Gross."
"Come on you should try some."
"Maybe someday but not now."
"Whatever you need to get out of here. It's dangerous past the barrier."
"No,I'm not leaving until you do."
"Okay then.Come with me."
We were walking around when he asked me a question
"Where are you from?"
"Im from New York."
"Wait how are you a fairy then?"
"I don't know Dowling said that I had some distant relatives that were fairies. "
"Oh cool."
I was about to ask him where he lived when I saw a bloody ground.
"Riven there is blood on the grass. Look."
"Stay here Im gonna see where it comes from."
"No I don't want you running away from me.I don't know the path to go back."
"Scared princess? Don't worry I won't leave you just wait 5 minutes."
"Fine but If you leave me here I swear I will kill you."
He just laughed and started walking away.

Stupid Riven.

I will fucking kill him.

That bitch.

I thought he was my friend and he leaves me here.

I can practically hear him laughing at me.

It has been 4 minutes since he left me here.

Suddenly I hear his scream. I panic and start running towards where the sound came from.
What I see next is the thing that will follow me to my grave.
On the ground is a bloody man.
I mean what is left of him.
I don't know how long i stared at him.
"Amora!Snap out of it!We need to go now!"
That's when I realize that I stared to long.
Shit I don't want to die.
"Riven Im scared. "

Me too.

"We need to tell Dowling. "
"And how do we explain to her what we were doing here in the first place."
"That doesn't matter.A man couldn't have done this."
We start running and when i couldn't keep up with him he grabed my hand.
I felt wierd when he's hand touched mine but didn't think anything of it.

After we explained Dowling what we saw in the woods.
She gave us a wierd look and asked us what we were doing outside of the barrier.We tried to explain but failed miserably.
In other words we got detention.
So here I am now cleaning the library in what was supposed to be my free time.
"You know, I thought you were supposed to be a good liar. "
"I am.I really don't know what happend there."
"It's fine. It could be worse."
"So are you going to party tonight. "
"I don't know. You?"
"Of course Im gonna be there. It's first party this year.You need to come."
"Maybe I will."
"So what power do you have?"
"Oh Im actually a mix of fire and mind fairy. "
"Damn I didn't know that was possible. You are like a cool hybrid. "
"Thanks I guess."
"Does that mean you can read my mind?"
"Not really I can only hear your thoughts when you're around me"

Damn does that mean she heard all that times I thought about her.

That shocked me.
I didn't think he would care to even think about me.
I blushed and looked away from him.
I didn't say anything after that.
We continued to clean in comfortable silence. He makes the other voices stop. I feel relaxed around him. I don't know why. When we finished he left to find Sky. And I went to see Stella.
"Hey"
"Oh hey Amora.Did you need something?"
"I wanted to ask you about this party tonight."
"Oh my God I forgot to tell you about that.Im so sorry."
"Its fine.I just wanted to know when it starts."
"In three hours. I can help you find what to wear if you want."
"Yes that would be amazing. Thank you."
