8. Beatrix

Amoras pov

I groaned and tried turning around when I felt something pressing against my back.

I was stuck.

Like literally.

Stella was squeezing me from one side and Samuel from other.

Shit.

"Um guys.I think it's time to wake up."

The only thing I got in return was a slight movement from Stella.
Next moment Aisha came into the room.
"Help me."I pleaded her.

She chuckled and tried to wake them up.

And I thought it was hard to wake me up.

After 5 minutes she got tired and poured water all over us.

The face Samuel made was worth of getting soaked.
"Ahh what the fuck."he said trying to shake water out of his ear.
Stella just turned around and spilled profanities.
"You are gonna regret that Aisha." She said finally getting up.

"What,was I supposed to leave you here ? You would have been late to school. "She said making a point.

That was satisfying.

I want to spill water over her again just to shut her up.

I laughed and thanked her for waking them up.

After class Samuel and me decided to go on a walk.

What I didn't expect was to see Riven training and other specialists.

I slowly started to turn around in hopes of running away from the situation.
When Samuel grabbed my hand.

"Oh no you don't. We are gonna pass them and you will hold your head high. Im not gonna let some asshole ruin our walk and your mood."he said in slightly hig voice.

"Fine but I don't want to talk to him ."

"You won't have to."

We started walking again when Riven turned around and saw me.
He looked at me in regret and stopped what he was doing.
We got close to him and just as he was about to say something to us some girl grabbed him by his arm  and started talking to him.
"Lucky stoner guy,right?"He looked at me and answered to her
"Riven."
"Your name is Riven really?"
"Can I help you?"
"You ca-."I never got to hear what she said next because Samuel literally dragged me away.
He stopped when nobody was around us.
"OH MY GOD.You totally like him."
I was confused because I genuinely had no idea what he was talking about.
"Who?What?"
"Riven.I saw you giving him that look. And you looked jealous when that girl grabbed him."
I swear this boy is taking some kind of drugs.
But judging by his thoughts he totally thought what he was saying is true.
"Samuel. I don't like Riven.I just met him the other day."

"I know but he totally likes you back. I saw how he looked at you."he said kind of excited.

"Samuel are you sure you are okay?"

"Fine don't believe me. But when the time comes I will laugh at you and tell you that I told you."okay the wierd look in his eyes was kinda creepy but whatever.
That's not gonna happen.

"Let's go spy on them."
"What?!Are you insane?"
"Listen Amora that girl gives me bad vibes. I think she might be up to something. "
"If we get caught I will tell them I was forced into this just so you know."I glared at him.

"Whatever let's find them."

After we found them we went on the other side of the bushes and listened.
"That depends on whose asking. " we heard Riven say.
"The person who wants to break into Dowlings office.I thought you might want to help."
What. Why would she want to do that.
I was confused and looked at Samuel and he gave me a look that said I don't have clue either.

Amora can you hear me.

I looked at Samuel and nodded.

After their conversation I want you to try hear her thoughts.

I nodded again and continued to listen.

"And why would you think that?"Im wondering the same thing.

"Because you are a guy and Im hot."

Wow confident much?

"Or did I misjudged the depth of you character?"she seems like a brat.

"And um what would I get?"

Damn it Riven. Don't do it.

"Guess we will see won't we."

"I guess it beats lady Dorris."

Fuck.

This boy gets on my nerves so bad.
Even tho Im angry at him I don't want him to get into trouble.
The girl started leaving and Samuel nudged me to try hear her thoughts.

I focused and in the next moment darkness consumed me.

I saw glimpses of the ruined town.

The fire.

Dead people.

Arandel.

I hear the voice saying.

Arandel.

Louder.

Then everything became quiet .

Amora.

Can you hear me?

"Amora!"
That brought me back.
I gasped loudly and looked into Samuels eyes.

"What happened Amora?"

"I think I just got into her head.Her name is Beatrix. "

"What did you see?"

"Death,pain,suffering and then darkness and this wierd voice repeating the same things. "

"Damn Amora I didn't know you could do that."

"Neither did I."

"You should have seen yourself. Your eyes were purple and you started whispering some wierd shit."he said sounding scared.

"Do we follow them or what. "

"No I don't want us getting into trouble. But we will find more about her.
We can't let your person fall for other girl."he winked.

I groaned and started complaining for him to stop with te Riven shit.

Yes I do find him attractive but I don't like him.

He is selfish asshole who hurts other people and besides I don't know if will be able to forgive him about calling me a freak without him even apologising.

"Come on we need to get to lunch or all places will be taken. "

In canteen we sit with Stella and others.
Then we started to form a plan to get Stellas ring back.
I noticed Skys behaviour towards Bloom.
Then I started to hear his thoughts.
He likes her.
He likes Bloom.
Then why would he be with Stella?
I need to talk to her about it later.
I don't want them getting hurt.
Both of them.
Sky seems like a good person.
But maybe I should talk to him first to hear his side.
