I leaned heavily against the house, and then.....
I fell into the icy snow, and just lay there. It was so cold it burned. I knew I would probably die right here, without even meeting other mortals. I tried so hard not to close my eyes, but the snow slashed my face, and ice was mixed into the snow. I touched my face, and felt a warm liquid. I raised my hand and saw the thick, red blood on my fingers. I felt my eyes closing, and I just let it happen.
The world went dark, and I suddenly felt warmth all around me. It was coming from a light in the distance. It seemed to be getting closer, and even closer. The light shone bright. It was welcoming me, opening me to its mystery. It was euphoric, and all I felt was happiness....
