I sat, trying to comprehend exactly what is going on. I tried to stand, to do anything, but my actions were halted as I saw the patch of blood growing on my shirt. I grabbed at the white sheet just out of arms reach when the familiar crushing feeling returned on my ankle, dragging me back to where I started. I screamed out at the pain from the gash on my right side. I didn't care anymore, about anything. I just needed the pain to end. I clawed at the ground, mentally begging for a grip, an advantage, anything that could make this end. I couldn't deal with it anymore. The pain, the loneliness. I needed a fighting chance. I was raised off the growing until I wasn't touching it anymore, then was thrown onto my back, the gash in my side literally ripping and reopening, after the little bit of healing it had already done. The white light burned through my eyes, and a voice called out, echoing

"I can make all if this end, if only you agree to help me."

Before I could respond, everything went black, and the pain returned, more painful than any other time. I felt the life draining, slowly seeping out of my body. I couldn't feel anything anymore, just the cooling feeling of healing. I felt a gush of wind, then the voice returned.

"Ah, I see we are in agreement then."

Once again, everything faded out, except for the mission that was now forced into my brain, waiting, hoping to be completed.
