I had similar classes to the rest of my team but had one I only had with 2 of their friends who they said could lead me there. I'm running around the halls looking for 2 students called Jaune Arc and Pyrrah Nikos.
I spot a boy with blonde hair and recognize him as Jaune. I run up to him. "Jaune hello I-I've been looking for y-you"I say panting
"Uh and you are"he asks
"I look at him blankly I-I'm (Y/N) did none of team RWBY tell you of me"I sighed
"They told us he probably just wasn't paying attention"said a girl I recognized as Pyrrah "(Y/N) it's a pleasure to meet you"she said as she shook my hand
"Oh you to.... um can you show me where my class is" I say bashfully
"Of course" she said giggling
They lead me to my class and I sat near them as I felt a piece of paper hit the back of my head as I opened it up it read "who let the cat in"I rolled my eyes as I read it. I could feel a group of people watching me from behind I had a feeling that it was them who threw the paper. I just hope no one else noticed they threw it at me since I didn't want to confront them since it didn't bother me
After class ended I saw a group of boys picking on a bunny faunus I walked over to them. "Hey leave her alone" I said to them with a demanding tone to my voice
The one who appeared to be the leader turned around to face me. He was much taller than me so I had to look up to look him in the eyes
"What are you going to do about it shorty"he said trying to annoy me
"Do you want to find out I can answer your question after school in a training duel"I said confidently
"Oooh for someone so small you sure talk big"he said again trying to make me angry. "I'll see you then"
(Timeskip to duel)
I stood across from the bully who Ruby called Cardin. 'I think that I will refer to him as a waste of time' I thought to myself
"3 .. 2 .. 1 .... go" the announcer called
As he said go I focused and threw multiple kicks at him knocking him to the ground putting him in the red
Everyone's eyes widen as the announcer called "W-we have a victor" I began to walk away as the bunny girl stopped me to thank me
"Th-thank you"she stuttered barely able to get the words out of her mouth
"Dont worry you have no need to thank me I cant stand people who discriminate faunus just because we are different so I'm just standing up for my kind"I say with a kind smile. "Hey sorry but I never got your name I'm (Y/N)"I say holding my hand out
"O-oh I'm Velvet"she said shaking my han
"Ok nice to meet you Velvet but I neet to go meet up with the rest of my team"I say and begin to walk back to the dorm room
As I arrive I see the other girls are not back yet so I decide to take a small nap laying my head on a desk by the window
After a few minutes I was woken up by the sound of a door shutting
"Oh hey guys"I said with a quiet yawn but they just stared at me quietly. "Hmm is something wrong"I ask
"That was a damn good fight with Cardin"said Yang
"I knew you could fight grimm well but I wasn't expecting you to win so quickly"said Blake
"What even was that I've only ever seen Ruby move that fast"asked Weiss
"Well it's my semblance its similar to Ruby's but it doesn't tire me out as much"I answered. "Its almost as if time slows but all that you see is me moving very quickly but I can study an enemy in that time and plan out my attack and execute said attack very quickly"
"Hmm so it is similar to mine"said Ruby
"Hmm well we can get a better strategy with it tomorrow since we will all be training as a team"said Blake
"Oh interesting I've never worked as a team like this before"I replied
"Well I suggest we all get plenty of sleep so we are ready for tomorrow"said Weiss
"Yeah that's for the best"I yawned
For the rest of the day we passed the time by explaining our semblance and trying to think of strategies to work together
