Blake and I had spent some time talking with mom and Evelyn until Ruby had come to get us since we had a mission. We all ran to go and get our gear. "Odd that we get a mission at this time. What's it about"I ask
"Well there have been multiple reports of dust stores being robbed and Atlas tech going missing, and based on the pattern of their robberies Ozpin wants us to check out a warehouse filled with Atlas tech, machinery, and weapons"Ruby says
(Timeskip)
We arrive at the warehouse after about a minute of running. We enter to see nothing has been stolen or touched for a while. "We must have beat them here. We should probably wait"I say
"Yeah we should hide somewhere out of sight and see who it is and stop them from taking anything"Weiss says. We all nod then leave the warehouse and climb up a ladder to the roof. After a few minutes of waiting we see a group of men, most wearing black suits and red sunglasses but one of them is wearing a white suit and a black bowler hat
"Of course its him"Yang says
"Who is that"I ask
"His name is Roman Torchwick and hes robbed more stores and warehouses than I can count"Yang says
"Its a fairly small escort for such a big job"I say
"I'm certain he has backup if he needs it"Ruby says
"I think hes going to need it here in a minute"Yang says
"Wait we have the element of suprise on our side let's not lose it"I say as I look around the roof. "Look a skylight w can drop on him from here"I walk over to the skylight and wait for him to enter and be below it
"Be careful he may not look like it but hes not a bad fighter make a noise if you need help and we will jump down after you"Ruby says and I nod. As I see him below the skylight I quickly break it by stomping it. As they all are turning to see what the sound was I jump down and when falling I spin and swing my blade at Roman. He blocks it and pushes me away.
'Damn he has fast reactions' I thought
"Ah interesting a lone hunter, and quite a young one at that. Well as you can see I have no time to be interrupted by you. Take care of her"Roman says. His goons charge at me
'Theres only five this will be easy' I thought. The first one swings at me with his machete like weapon which I'm able to easily block. I jump up spin then kick him in the face, while my leg is still against his face I move my other leg over and wrap them both around his head. I use what little weight I have to pull him to the ground when hes falling I jump off him making him slam into the ground leaving cracks in it. 'One down'. I concentrate and in a split secon three more fall to the ground unconscious and heavily bruised. The last guy swings at me which I block and before he can do anything else I grab his arm yank him forward then grab his neck with one hand and put one of my legs behind both of his. I push forward on his neck and move my leg backwards then once hes lost his balance I slam him to the ground. 'That's all of them now for Roman' I think. I turn to where Roman ran to see hes now in one of the massive mechs that Atlas has newly developed
"Well kid your not bad but I dont think you can take down this"he says as he suddenly charges at me in the mech
"He-"I'm cut off by the mech punching me sending me through the warehouse walls
"NO"all of RWBY shouts
"That's why he didn't call backup his backup is the mech"Yang says. She jumps off the building to me. "Are you ok"she asks
"Y-yeah I'm f-fine"I stutter as I stand up weakly
Roman bursts from the wall of the warehouse. "Oh I think I recognize that hair"he says. "Blondie is that you. It's been a while I didnt expect this to be how we saw each other again". Ruby jumps off the building onto the mech and stabs her scythe into the glass protecting Roman. "Woah that's awfully close"he says as the mech grabs Ruby and throws her nearly hitting me and Yang.
Yang runs over to Ruby to see if shes ok. "Why are you doing this"I ask
"What stealing dust and weaponry. I cant tell you that then you would know the plan"he says. Blake and Weiss jump down beside me so they dont get thrown like Ruby did. "Oh how interesting the whole gangs here not just red and blondie. So could that mean that your a new member to their team"
"Why should I tell you that they you would know"I say sarcastically. By this time our aura has healed me and Ruby's injuries so I run at the mech with Blake and Yang following. Roman punches at us but were able to avoid it then red lines turn on. 'Great it has guns to' I think. I make it between its legs before it can shoot at me. I jump up and pull the trigger on my saya sending me up right in front of the glass protecting Roman. I sheathe my katana again and pull the trigger sending it flying out of the saya. Right before it fully leaves the saya I grab the tsuka and swing aat the window breaking it.
"Aghhh why you"he says. He swings one of the fists at me but before it hits me I place my hand on it and flip onto it. I then jump into the cockpit of the mech with Roman.
"Looks like theres no way out of this without nearly killing yourself Roman"I say. I kick him in the jaw making him place his hands on it. Since he let go of the controls I grabbed him by his arm and jumped out of the mech bringing him out with me. We land on the ground and he sighs as I pin him to the ground.
"Well that wasn't bad"he says. "Especially for me since I got to see the Grimm Reapers faunus granddaughter fight"
My eyes widen. "How did you know"I ask making sure to keep a tight grip on him so he cant escape
He laughs. "Who do you think burned your house kid"he says
I completely freeze. "No...."I whispered. "I-it was you"
"Of course it was. Who else would it have been. The white fang knew that you lived there so they wanted to take you, but I beat them there. I burned your house hoping to take you under my wing but you left for the city and i expected you to stay in the forest. So i never found you but Beacon did"he says
"You burned my house and destroyed my previous life just to recruit me into a criminal organization"I say slowly getting angrier
"Yes and you know the offer still stands even after this I will still take you in. You won't need to follow any of these rules you won't be treated differently just because of your animalistic traits either"he says
"In some universe I may have taken that offer but this is not the right one"I say enraged. I grab him by his hair and lift his head up and slam it back into the ground with what strength I have left. The other girls are worried by this action and run over to me
"The offer will never expire so you can come by later and we can discuss it then"he says his face bloody. I pick his head up and slam it back down again rendering him unconscious. The others pull me off him before I do anything else
"(Y/N) what are you doing"Weiss asks. "Hes a criminal yes but that doesn't mean we can harm him that badly"
They let me go and I stand still not moving an inch and completely silent. "(Y/N) what's wrong was it something he said we couldn't hear him"Blake says
"I-I wanna go back..... please. Can we just get the police to come and take him"I ask still unmoving
"Y-yeah I'll call them"Ruby says as she walks away and calls them
"(Y/N) if somethings wrong please tell us"Yang says
"I-Its fine I just dont like criminals is all...... yeah"I say
Ruby quickly walks back. "Alright I told them we apprehended him and they are coming as fast as they can. We can head back now"she says
