“This is it, I have to tell him!” You said to yourself as you
were looking at old texts you had with Kobe. He was
your best friend and you two knew each other since he
came to California. It didn’t take long for you to fall in love
with him, but you were scared you might lose him if he
doesn’t feel the same.
However, after a year of being in silence you decided to
talk to him and tell him how you feel, no matter what will
happen. You didn’t want regrets in your life. Last time you
heard from him was a little bit more than a week, but you
knew he didn’t always have time to deal with you.
As you went to your laptop before going to Kobe’s
house, you noticed a link “KBreezo.Single? Not anymore!"

you didn’t believe at first, because he always told you that
if all the rumours were true he would be dating ten girls
right now.
However, when the link opened you noticed a picture of
Kobe hugging a girl in a romantic way, not friendly at all.
You were confused, and then you saw another picture just
of the girl he is supposed to be dating. You knew her; she
was your worst enemy.
She was in the same high school as you and you never
liked each other, she hated you because her boyfriend was
your good friend and broke up with her to be with you, even
if you didn’t want to be with him. However, she blamed you
for everything and hated you for this.
You were confused so you looked other pages with them
and one of them proved they really were together. It was a
picture of him kissing her that made you fall in tears. You
were upset about this, but you wanted to hear the truth
from Kobe so you texted him.

"Please call me when you can."

It took almost an hour when you finally got his answer,

" Don't ever talk to me again. I'm done with you."

You put your hand in front of your mouth, stared in to the
screen as you kept on rereading his text confused. You felt
sick, afraid you might lose him even though he is not even
yours. You immediately called him, but no answer. You
tried three more times but nothing.
You had no other option than to just go to his place and
talk with him. As you were driving tears were falling on
your cheeks. You didn’t know what to expect and what hurt
you more, the fact that he got a girlfriend or the fact that
he hates you for no reason.
Finally you were in front of his house and noticed he was
not alone, there was a red car parked next to his Audi. You
hoped it was not his girlfriend a.k.a. the girl who hated you
more than anything. As you knocked on the door, you were
scared what will happen.

“Who is it?” He asked before opening.
“It’s me, Amaya…” You said and there was a moment of
silence, “Please Kobe, open the door.” You said hoping
he would let you inside.
“What?” He said as he finally opened the door and you
stood in front of him scared.
“Why are you mad at me?” You asked confused.
“You know what? Fu*k you Amaya, I thought you were my
friend.” He said looking at you like he was disgusted from
what you did.
“I am your friend! Why do you doubt about it?”
“A friend doesn’t hate on my family, a friend does not
hate to my girlfriend…” As he said that, your heart broke,
because he just confirmed it was all true to your face.
“I never hated on your family Kobe!” You got mad
hearing he actually believed that you would do something
like this.
“Well I heard differently,” He said and you noticed that
idiotic girlfriend of his walking to you proudly with a smile
that made you realize she was doing this for revenge.
“What’s wrong Kobe? Why is she here, I told you I’m scared
of her.” She said as she wrapped around him acting
innocent and scared. You wanted to punch her for doing
this to you, but it would just make everything worse.
“it’s okay, she was just leaving.” He said, as he looked at
you mad.
“I am so… I can’t believe you actually believe her. She did
it on purpose. Can’t you see it? She hates me since her ex
broke up with her, because he liked me and now she wants
you to get away from me.” You said almost shouting at
both of them.
“Oh c’mon! Not everything is about you Amaya!” He said as
he rolled his eyes.
“I thought you knew me better than this, but clearly I was
wrong.” You said as you felt a tear running down your face.
“Just like I was wrong about you.” He said not even caring
about anything you told him or the fact that you cried in
front of him with your heart broken.
“Well… I hope you are happy now.” You said looking at her
and then moved your eyes back at him, “you two.” You
turned around and got back in your car as you noticed they
closed the door.
It hurt you so much that he believed someone like her and
not you, who were with him all the time. You cried the
entire road home hoping one day it won’t hurt this much.
