Y/n POV:
I had a flashback of that night... it was dark but except for the moonlight we were in his room planning for our escape and it was 8:54 pm we were planning on leaving at 10:00 when you go in the woods and down this hill there's a small there's roads like 3 miles leading into the city. He was in basketball at the time being 14 and I was in track for kids being 12 the lights in the city would glow brighter the later it is just so we wouldn't lose our way we would follow the city lights. It was 9:50 and we were packing clothes shoes and everything I was excited and scared. We left at 9:55 I could hear my mom busting in the room yelling and soon we were being chased we ran through woods and over logs. Then Corey stopped and I ran into him I fell and he ran I got up and he pushed me into a ditch and my leg got caught up in a tree and it made my leg break.
Y/n: help Corey I said crying
Corey: they're coming in like 5 minutes
I look up and see the city lights in a few miles.
Y/n: I can make it
I turn and see Corey running off without me behind a tree and hear my parents coming i knew I wasn't going to get far with my leg broken so I covered myself in leaves.
Mom: where are they?
Dad: let's go
I still hid just in case they didn't leave and were faking it and all the sudden my hair was being pulled by my dad.
Dad: thought you were getting away b*tch
Mom: haha
I remember seeing Corey running down the hill into the road towards the city without me. No help, no goodbye, nothing.

I get a call from my hidden phone I had planning to leave again and answer it.
Y/n ( 13): hello?
???: hey I'm coming back for you be ready
Y/n: corey I said excited
???: yes bubby it's me
Y/n: guess what today is?
Corey: what?
Y/n: you remember?
Corey: bye my gf is calling me be ready!
Y/n: love y-
*call ended*
8:50 pm
Y/n: are you coming
Corey: yea in 10 minutes
Y/n: ok I'm ready
9:50 pm
I realized he was never coming. I took my chance to leave and never come back I been healing my leg since the incident I was crying my the whole time I made it to the city and my dads friends took me in I told them what happened to me and they called the police I thought I would've been safe but I got to the station and was in the room.
Officer: tell me what happened
Me: I'm being abused in my house
Officer: ok and may I ask by who?
Me: my pare-
All the sudden my mom walks in and my heart breaks.
Mom: her brother
Officer: oh ok just get a restraining order from him and that's it
Mom: wait till we get home puta

The officer takes off his hat and it was my dad I started to cry.
