Boomer was at his house with Tails and Denise (JJ's little sister) typing on his computer and said to both Tails and Denise, "Well we never knew what we have until its gone. Don't you both think?" Tails shrugged. Denise said, "But its been 6 months since Knuckles went back home to Angel island and since Sonic went back to Mobotropolis permanently with Manic." Boomer turns to them while turning his chair and said, "Well speaking of them. I heard he and Manic are living together and Doing things they use to do when they were young. I also heard he rejoin the band he and Manic were in. I think it was called the goth-demon angels. Not to mention Sonic really is happy to be back home. Its like things are going their way. Only difference is that Sonic visits Knuckles once a month and mostly spends his time with Manic nowadays as for Knuckles he is probably guarding his home from thieves or something like that. Whatever that means. Although he expects a visit or two from Sonic." Tails replied, "Well I may not know this but... This is one thing I can agree on. In fact its one thing we can agree on. Though when Amy and Sticks heard about Sonic along with everyone they did not take it really well. But what I don't know how they didn't see all this coming? They were not here when Sonic went home with Manic." Denise said, "Probably cause they were hiking up on the mountains again. They even got lost and took a while to find a way back by the time Sonic went home with Manic." Boomer chuckled and said, "Hehehehehe. Well stinks to be them. But I highly doubt they will be following Sonic or Knuckles anytime soon." Denise sighs and said, "Well speaking of the girls. I talked to Amy and Sticks and they told me they were about to Sonic but I reasoned them not to besides the city people don't like the villagers here and now." Tails said, "Well we visit them often. How come I ain't being offended by them?" Boomer replied, "Probably because you acted more like a city boy rather than a village boy T. Besides Denise and I are from the city and we think of you more than a simple village boy Tails." Denise blushed in embarrassment as Tails explained, "You make a good point there Boomer. People at the funeral kept on and on saying that I don't look like a village boy." Boomer said, "Probably cause the way you look and dress. NO offense T." Tails shrugged and said as he smiled, "None taken Boomer. Say Denise you think we will get this project of ours done in time?" Denise said, "Sure we will. Just as long as Charlie doesn't attack us we will be fine." The three friends agreed as they continued their project. Boomer then said, "Ya know since Sonic and Knuckles are gone we had to pull off some weight protecting this village." Tails said, "I'll say. Three geeks fighting off villains." Denise then said, "Not to mention your band 'dude-i-tude' barely fell down the rabbit hole but me and Boomer took Sonic and KNuckles place. Your not weird you have a girl in the band are you?" Tails shook his head no before the three friends laughed.

Meanwhile with Sonic:

Sonic and Manic were in their bedroom laying down feeling bored. Sonic said as he sat up, "Man things have been kind of slow today don't you think Manic?" Manic replied, "Yeah little bro it gets boring everyday." Manic then gets up and said stretching, "So ya wanna grab some lunch at Catrina's diner before practicing for our next gig?" Sonic smiled and said as he gets up, "Yeah sure I was getting hungry anyway. Lets go bro." Manic smiled and walked out as Sonic followed him. Then they see their friend Felix just after they walked out of the house and into the outside as they locked the door. Felix said, "Dude what the heck?! What are you two doing? This is not the time to be slacking off!! We should be practicing." Manic said chuckling, "Hehehe. Well Felix me and my brother are going to grab a bite to eat. So unless ya wanna join us I suggest ya wanna wait for us back at your place." Sonic said, "Yeah Felix I agree with Manic. Ya may wanna wait for us back at your place." Felix rolled his eyes as he watched them walk into Catrina's diner. They sat near the window as Sonic thought, "hmmmm... I wonder how Knuckles is doing. I miss him so much." Manic chuckled before Sonic asked, "What's so funny bro?" Manic answering while chuckling still, "I heard this funny joke once and I want you to hear it." Sonic said, "Okay." Manic stopped chuckling and said, "alright. What do you call a dance that makes you flip on your back?" Sonic shrugs as Manic finished, "The FLIP FLOP!" The hedgehog twins laughed out loud as they laughed childishly at Manic's joke. They both stopped to catch a breath before a waitress comes up and said, "Hello boys. Can I take your order?" The boys told the waitress what they wanted before the waitress walked off to the kitchen. Sonic said, "I gotta be honest I am so glad to be back in the city. Catrina's diner is way better than meh burger. Besides the service there was lousy." Manic shrugged and said, "I can imagine that bro and I'm also glad your back in the city." The two boys chatted until their food arrived.

Meanwhile with Knuckles:

Knuckles was walking around the area of his home on Angel island. Protecting it from thieves and other intruders. He held the necklace Sonic gave him just before he left and thought, "Every time Sonic visits me he always had a cute smile on his face. He's always been my reason to keep on going. I miss you so much Sonic but when you come and visit me every month you always tell me that 'you always wonder how I am' I love you so much Sonic. Someday we'll be together but until then. You will stay in my heart as long as I wear the necklace you gave me I'll remember you." Knuckles looks at the sky every time he thinks of Sonic he feels the breeze in his face. He looks at the land and sea way up high the floating island.

Meanwhile with Sonic:

Manic and Sonic were getting ready for their next gig. They smiled and laughed at their band member and friend for making a fool out of himself in front of girl he liked but the girl was sadly with someone else. Sonic said while he still laughed, "hahahaahaaaahahahaah. oh man Felix. Y-you haft to stay focused. ahahahaahahahahahaha" Manic said laughing still, "hahahahaha. Sonics right. hhahaahahaa. You need to foocused on the gig not on Olivia.. hahahahaahah. Besides shes with Selena." Felix yelled as he scowled at them, "WILL YOU TWO QUIT LAUGHING LIKE A COUPLE OF LITTLE KIDS ALREADY!!!" After a moment of laughing they stopped and got ready. The goth-demon angels practiced for their next gig for their new album: "Put you out of their misery." Sonic never felt this happy to be home even when he thinks of Knuckles. Sonic thought, "I'm happy I'm home with my brother and friends. Hopeflly I'll be with Knuckles one day."
