His sandy waves moved with the wind. A sly but sweet smile graced his lips, his golden eyes glistening at the young girl beside him. The sight of the girl perplexed her thoughts for just a microsecond, and soon, it hit her. She was lingering in her mother's memories. The boy was gorgeous, the kind of man you can't take your eyes off. His bone structure was sculpted into perfection. He reminded Cassiopeia of a hazel-eyed boy she adored.
Her mother's grey orbs sparkled as she looked at the older boy, the ring on her finger shining. He bent to her ear and whispered something that made her mother blush under his touch. She eased closer to him, and he placed a soft kiss on her forehead. Rabastan, Cassiopeia whispered to herself. She watched them both lost in each other. It felt that nothing in the whole world mattered besides those two.
Rabastan Lestrange, her mother's love, the one she was promised to, the one that went mad after losing the girl he loved and was suppose to marry, whose death drove him to such crazy that he murdered and tortured Dumbledore's followers out of rage, the boy who lost all and everything the day the dark lord set his eyes on his intended.
In her lifeless eyes, she felt tears sting, they were happy, they were so happy, it was Cassiopeia that ruined two lives, the prospect of a witch with her blood destroyed these two lives, and she was the reason one of them was dead and another rotted in Azkaban.
Her head felt heavy, she stumbled for support nearby to a tree, she held the bark for support, and slowly the texture of the bark changed along with her surroundings, a Plate flew close to Cassiopeia's face, and she heard a scream.
Artemis's grey orbs were swollen, her heart pained more, and her raven hair that Cassie had inherited from her was tangled and falling all over her mess of a face, tears couldn't stop spilling, it was as if someone had died right in front of Artemis, Cassie tried moving closer to her distraught mother, Her slow footsteps stopped when she heard her whisper
Rabastan... Cassiopeia felt her heartbreak again, she was swept with guilt all over, Her mother and Rabastan had to pay the price for Cassie's existence, a product of centuries of strongest magical bloodlines, strongest and darkest wizards sharing blood with her, it caused so much devastation in her mum's life and all the others.

"Oh my! It's perfect Cassie" Daphne squealed, admiring the red overcoat and boots with a short skirt that Cassie wore for her date, Pansy approached the Raven haired beauty, a smirk gracing her lips, "who knew the queen of snakes looks best in red"
An amused chuckle left Cassiopeia's lips, she looked in the mirror, red did suit her, better than emerald green she always latched on to.
Daphne moved in front of Cassiopeia and gripped her shoulder, her sweet smile no longer visible and a serious look on her face
"You have known him your whole life but that does not mean that this date is going to be the same as the hundreds of friendly day-outs before" Her eyes softened as Cassiopeia looked at her with an amused expression, Daphne took these things very seriously, especially when it comes to two of her closest people.
"- Tell him how you feel Love, I know it's a little out of your area of expertise, Just tell him what we all can see"
"-What can you all see?" Cassiopeia asked with a weird look
Daphne rolled her eyes "How madly you fancy him-" A deep blush spread across Cassiopeia's face as she rolled her eyes at her for the dramatics, Pansy continued "Just as he does you, ten times over if not more"
