Kevin stared at the doctor who was looking over his forums. "Mr.Moon, I just want to make sure you know what you're doing. You know it's a 50:50 chance right?"
Kevin slowly nodded, knowing the consequences. "I'm willing to risk it all." He ambitiously responded.
"Look, I know you love your girlfriend and you want to be able to live with her for a long time, but this can also lead to not spending anymore time with her." He warned. "Getting surgery is the better choice rather than waiting it off with medications but you'd be able to live longer if you take the medications first and then get surgery."
Kevin sighed. "I still want the surgery."
The doctor nodded. "Did you tell your family?" He asked s he typed on his keyboard.
"Only my mother-in-law knows." Kevin responded whilst lowering his head. He felt bad that even his parents didn't know.
"I see. You should tell them," The doctor suggested.
