I try to use this structure as often as I can because it helps me keep track of where I want to go with the story. You don't have to use this structure if you don't wish to, but it's there if you ever want to use it!
~Having a good structure also helps you keep track of where you wanted to go with a plot when you stop writing.
~It also helps keep the reader from getting confused as to where they are in the story.
