Jasper paced. And paced. And paced.
The world was DOOMED.
"Sis, you're going to make a hole in the floor," Wildfire smirked as he walked into her room. "What are you so worried about anyway?"
"Mother beat grandmother in a challenge duel..." Jasper choked out.
"WHAT?" Wildfire exclaimed. "What did she do?"
"Well, she first made everyone swear that they would always be loyal to her," Jasper counted off. "Then she tracked down the Talons of Peace and killed any SkyWings that were hiding from her there. Then she brought back the arena. Then sent out several soldiers to try to find six dragonets that are running around."
"What does Uncle Cliff think about this?"
"He is against it. He tried to make a protest to overthrow mother, but she threw him in the deepest prison and no one is allowed to talk to him."
"What are the six dragonets running around?"
"One is a fire scale SkyWing," Jasper said. "It's mother ran away with her egg and raised it. It's almost at adulthood. And the IceWing's first frost scales."
"WHAT?" Wildfire exclaimed. "HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?"
"Rumour is that it's animus touched."
"Ah," Wildfire said. "That explains it."
"Another is a SandWing. He doesn't have fire, no tail barb, and no heat from his scales." Jasper muttered.
"The poof SandWing..." Wildfire said.
"A SeaWing...I think it was a hybrid."
"What hybrid? SkyWing?" Wildfire guessed.
"SandWing," Jasper said. "A future seeing NightWing is on the loose as well. It is apparently REALLY good at seeing the future."
"And the final?" Wildfire asked.
Jasper wrinkled her snout. "She sounded a bit... odd. At first I thought the general lost his brain. But it's... insect like. They said it was wingless and had antennae, but it also had spikes like an IceWing."
"So a hybrid," Wildfire said. "That's simple. What do they do to capture the frost scales and fire scales?"
"They made Queen Anemone use their power for them once." Jasper said. "Princess Tsunami highly disapproved of it though. And from the RainWing I met today, she said Queen Firefly was planning to maybe attack the palace to take down mother."

"Well, I'm going to start getting a secret protest ready to overthrow my mother!" Wildfire started running out.
"Do you want to get yourself killed?" Jasper called.
"I'll be fine!" Wildfire called as his tail disappeared through the doorway.
Hopefully he knows what he is doing.
Or everyone I loved will be dead.
