**That's right. Your demigirl is back with another chapter! This book is no longer on hiatus but requests are closed for now, partially because I have another one on the line. But I did say this book will come off of hiatus soon, now didn't I?**

**QUICK HEADS UP! In this one-shot, Satoshi, Goh, and Chloe are 22.**

Today was a special day for Goh. Today was his first day as a Royal Knight, and after failing a couple times, he felt really good that he finally made it. It was a childhood dream of his, and he could've given up if he wanted to. He didn't know what had driven him after the first time he failed, as he had no real reason in doing so, but he didn't give up. Was it destiny or something?

*Knock knock knock* Another guard opened the door, looked like the head. "Oh? What do we have here?" He asked. "M-My name is Goh." He didn't know what else to say, but he didn't have to. "Oh, the new one. Please, come with me." "Oka- I m-mean yes sir!"

The head guard took Goh on a long walk to the king. "So, this is the new one? I'm sure you know who I am sir." Goh got handed a scroll. "Here is your schedule. I expect the very best Goh." "Yes sir!"

As Goh was on his way to his post, he found a couple of other guards laughing and joking around. 'Maybe I should go say hi! Maybe make some friends here.' Goh thought, so when he started approaching them they turned their heads and started laughing at him. "How'd a girl get in here?" one remarked. Goh didn't know how to respond, so he just walked away.

As a matter a fact, every knight was like that. Sure, Goh was friends with a maid named Chloe, but they really didn't get to talk much since of their difference in class. Goh wanted to leave so bad, but he was holding onto that one last string of hope that someone would save him from this madness. For what?

About two months after his first day, news was going around that there would be a new guard. Goh was kind of nervous that he'd be like the rest, but he really couldn't care less. Even if he wasn't like them, Goh was very socially awkward anyways.

The usual happened ten minutes later, other knights were teasing him again. He wanted to get onto them for so long and thought that now would be a good time. "Can you all cut it out? I'm getting tired of your bullsh*t." They all were caught off-guard by this, but one didn't seem to care and did something Goh expected this one to do.

*WHAM!*

There came the punch. Did he hit something? He sure did. But it felt more like a hand, but not one like Goh's. Goh was surprised too, as he had great reflexes so he was ready to catch his punch, but someone nobody recognized but was clear that he was a knight, caught the punch. It was obvious he was the new one.

The next thing that guy knew, he got punched back pretty hard by the mystery man. It's pretty safe to say that Goh was the most surprised here, as someone he didn't even know could make those guys run like little kids.

"Are you okay? Does this happen often?"

"Yeah, I-I'm fine...and yeah it does..so I could've defended myself y'know.."

And sooner or later, Goh was having a full-on conversation with this new guy that just stood up for him. Goh tried to be serious, but in the end it was just the two making jokes together. It felt awfully nice, a good break for Goh. he couldn't help but smile like a dork the whole time. And it really didn't help that this guy was Goh's type look-wise too.

"So uh, are we friends or.."

"Totally! I'd love to! I'm Satoshi, sorry for not telling you sooner!"

"No no it's okay! I'm Goh."

"Nice to meet you Goh! I have to get going to my post, so I'll s-see you later!"

"Okay, bye!"

Satoshi. That was a nice name to Goh, and he didn't know if he was just imagining, but he could've sworn he saw the tanned boy's face turn a little red. Now his face turned a little red as he was thinking that.

Boy was this going to be fun.
