The Finals is approaching. Nakapag-review na ako before midterm exam pa lang ngunit kagaya ng ginagawa ko, nag-review ulit ako. Ate Macy called yesterday about the event of Fashion Designer students. We'll meet each other to talk about it.

I am planning to talk to Casimir before the exam so I wouldn't have a burden before taking it. Gusto ko nang tapusin ang kalokohan ko lalo na't hindi ko na masikmura ang mga ginagawa ko. And besides, may sasabihin din siya sa akin. Siguro mas maganda kung isang bagsakan na lang.

Ngumiti ako nang matanaw ko si Ate Macy sa tabi ng glass wall ng Starbucks. She's sitting comfortably on the two-seater table with two frappes. She smiled upon having a glimpse of me.

"Hello, Ate! Sorry natagalan. Inasikaso ko pa kasi mga requirements," I chuckled and reclined in front of her.

"It's fine, Sahri. Ako naman ang may favor sa'yo, e. I bet, Tita already informed you? Na-chika kasi sa kaniya ni Mommy," she laughed.

I nodded and savored on my frappe. She's wearing an oversized black sweater and a long necklace. She partnered it with black knee socks and black Timberland boots. Hati sa gitna ang kaniyang blonde na buhok at naka-ponytail.

"Oo nga po. Nagulat ako kasi wala ka namang sinabi sa akin. Kailan pala 'yon?" I let out and frowned a bit.

"Before Christmas holiday. Gagawin sanang pageant iyon kaso andaming events na naka-lineup, hindi na naisingit. Every course may event. May battle of the bands din, kaya for sure maraming tutugtog at outsiders," litanya niya at tinagilid ang kaniyang ulo. "Is it okay to you?"

Maagap akong tumango at ngumisi. "Of course, Ate! That'll be my first time. Modeling is not my thing since I'm petite but well, I'm glad I'll model your designs," I said jovially.

She smiled widely. "Cool! I'll show you the designs after the first day of exam! Ikaw talaga ang unang pumasok sa isipan ko nang gawin iyon. Thank you!"

We conversed about school and stuff after discussing about her designs. Mag-aaral sana siya sa Paris kaso hindi natuloy dahil nagkasakit ang Papa niya. Her Mom encouraged her to pursue her course in France but she withheld the opportunity.

Malapit na mag gabi nang makaalis ako sa Araneta. Puro missed calls ni Comet ang phone ko nang mabuksan ko iyon. I swiveled my eyes and fixed my study table. I'm done reviewing and sa ngayon, mag-r-relax na lang ako. I just hope I'll do good.

"Hello," bungad ko nang sagutin niya ang tawag. "What's with the calls?" ngisi ko at naupo sa aking kama.

"I was worried. Hindi ka nagpaalam sa akin kanina nang umalis ka sa campus. Where have you been?" he seriously said over the phone.

I chuckled. "Kinita ko si Ate Macy sa Starbucks sa Araneta para sa designs niya. Hindi kita nahagilap kanina, I'm sorry."

I heard him sighed heavily. Napangiti ako at nag-angat ng tingin sa wall clock ng kuwarto. It's quarter to nine PM. Siguro naman, puwede pa kaming magkita ngayon? Kahit saglit lang. We didn't see each other that much earlier since we were both occupied by our own requirements.

"What are you doing right now?" he drawled.

"Nothing, actually. Tapos na akong mag-aral. Can we see each other?" I said smoothly.

"Now?" he asked.

Tumango ako. "Yep. I'll fetch you, ako naman ang magmamaneho para sa ating dalawa," I chuckled.

My smile dilated when his laughs inoculated my ears like a saccharine lullaby. Tumayo ako at kinuha ang puting hoodie na nakasabit sa sampayan ko ng mga sumbrero.
