I thought of this as two guardian wolves with a girl whom they were protecting/raising.
What does this make you think?
I was too lazy to color the background with color-pencils so, I colored a new page with oil pastels and cut out the girl, wolves, and ground; which I planned to stick on the background. I realized that oil pastels could get their colors on the drawings so I painted clear nail polish over the background before attaching the cut-out to it.
I thought just oil-pastel-ing, cutting, and sticking would be easier since I was tired of coloring with color-pencils but I was definitely wrong. This took way too much work. At least, it's all shiny now (thanks to the nail polish).
