"I'm sorry for not being good enough to be your partner Kageyama! I'm sorry for wanting to be your friend, since no one else wanted to! Sorry for caring about you, knowing that you wouldn't care about me! And I'm sorry for thinking we were best friends..."

Today Hinata decided to talk with Kageyama, she had always considered the youth to be her best friend, though they fight and bickered from time to time they still had an undeniable bond. He was her setter and she was his spiker. The boy - Hinata- [before the transformation] would spend countless hours practicing his spikes with the ravenette, they'd talk about their days or trade their darkest secrets with on another, this proving their bond of trust. Of course friendship is not all about trading secrets.

People in general wouldn't want to be friends with the supposedly tyrant king of the court, but they just watched him from a distance, quietly admiring his beauty. Hinata on the other hand was his total opposite, he'd be the one that everyone wanted to become friends or aquitaned with, who wouldn't want to become his friend? He was easy to approach unlike his best friend. Their polar differences were bound to cause some disputes between the two. Like what was about happen in a few minutes prior.

The short tempered setter has been feeling a little depressed lately. He just felt as if something depressing was coming, you know, almost like a sixth sense of some sort. He was hit with bad news when he woke up this morning, his parents had passed away in a car accident while driving out to burn some incense for his sister. Kageyama wasn't always to short tempered and arrogant to begin with, I fact he used to be a sweet, kind and gentle boy until his sister passed on. His sisters was the one to keep him in place and never let him fall out of line, when she felt that he was walking on the wrong path, she immediately jumped into action. Her name was Haruka...Haruka Kageyama. She was the most beautiful girl that he knew, her long and voluminous blue-black hair put girls to shame, and she had the most captivating dark blue eyes and the most milky, silky soft porcelain plain skin. Haruka was two years older than Tobio.

They were inseparable, bound by the hip and best friends. Soon after her passing Kageyama went on a rampage, he was mad at the world and whatever heavenly being there was for taking away his sister, he was mad at the biologists and scientist for not finding a cure for cancer. He started spiraling down at fast rate, lashing out at his parents and friends, skipping school, cutting his writs...no one understood that he just wanted to have someone be there for him, to keep him in check...just like his sister had done, but they all left him, said he "needed some space" when he really only needed someone to talk to or someone to hug.

Now his parents have left him too, he has no one now. Not even the motherly love that everyone boasts about or the heart to heart conversations between him and his father.
