I know what I saw. I was outside of my body and the gang was all standing there looking anxious. I saw Darry, my boyfriend, staring at the monitor to see which way it would go. I saw Dally, Johnny, Ponyboy, Sodapop, Steve, and Two-bit. Then I saw beyond.
I saw them all grieve. I saw my parents in tears. I saw Darry cry for the first time. Then, I saw the future. I saw Darry meet a beautiful girl, and so did his brothers. I saw Johnny get away from his parents. I saw Dally meet someone good. He married her.
I saw fights and arguments, but I also saw love. Life. I saw Sodapop die in Vietnam and he went to Darry's wedding with me! I saw Ponyboy start his writing career. I even tried to posses things to help him with a horror story.
Good. Bad. So much good. But I'm not there. So much good and I'm dead. What if I stay? I'm making the right decision. I stopped breathing. And I heard this, "She ain't suffering." Said Steve
"I just wish she could see the future." Darry said
