A Tabaxi is like a humanoid cat, so basically Antfront, and a Ranger is someone who is specially affiliated with nature but not in a wholly magic way, like a druid! They are adept at tracking things and can do some nature-related magic!
After that potion trick, I'm imagining Ant as a botanist, and he collects herbs and stuff for his potions, hence his belts. I also picked ranger because of his tendency to stay behind and mine, getting the team OP resources (like the prot 4 diamond armor).
