Josh's pov

"Mom!!! Dad!!! Alicia invited us to her launch party on Saturday can you believe it" Millie screamed once we got into the house

"Wow that's great news, Son congratulations you are getting more recognized for your work I'm very proud" dad says giving me a huge smile and a fist bump

"Nwchoooo my baby I knew you could do it" mom says squeezing me into her warm embrace

"Thanks Mom and Dad" I reply back feeling shy

"At dinner we will discuss more about it but now go get some rest and freshen up dinner is at 7 ok"

"Sure mom" I respond leaving to do as I was told

Once I got into my room I flopped down on my bed, why is it the day you hardly do anything you feel more exhausted I thought sighing into my pillow

It was currently 4.30 pm so I have 2hours 30 minutes before dinner start I could take a quick nap, I was just about to lay down properly when Millie walks in

"Really Millie I was just about go to sleep" I groan out

"Ohh I'll come back later then" she says about to leave

"No it's alright there is still some time before dinner you can come in" I say feeling bad a wide smile stretchs her face as she rush to my bed

"So is there something you wanted to talk about" I say facing the ceiling of my bedroom

"Well I wanted to ask why you won't want to come out on Saturday it's a huge event for you Josh, people will recognize you even more"

"I know but I just don't want to it's a lot stress, and I don't want to be an embarrassment it's best if you all go including Kaleb"

"It's not the same we or Kaleb aren't the people, that is being recognized it's you Josh I know how hard it all is trust me I do but you need to allow yourself to pass certain boundaries think of the future Josh, you have an amazing talent and it will take you far I know that much" she says holding my left cheek so I was facing her

"I'll think about it Lie (prounced as Li), i Just didn't expect all of this that's all"

" Gosh Josh you deserve so much more you just can't see it"  she exclaims almost angryly as a tear slides down her face, soon she starts sobbing.

I breaks my heart everytime we talk about how my disorder hinders me and she starts crying. I know this might not being Ideal but we have been close ever since  an incident in my highschool and then there was also what happened to Kim most would think it's more than siblings but honestly it's not. Millie helped through a rough patch that even my parents n other siblings don't know anything about.

"Hey pumpkin calm yourself down no need to cry for this old soul hell I'm not worth your tears though I'm touched you feel this way please stop crying I promise to try my best ohk" I say wiping the tears of her face with one hand while the other hand held her chin

"You promise"

"To the moon and never back" I reply our favorite line she smiles when she hears this causing me to smile too

"I love you so much big bro, I can't wait to meet the woman who will steal your heart from me she will be so lucky"

"I love you too Lie, haha she isn't anywhere close by though and don't say such no one can ever take your spot ohk" I say kissing her forehead

"Thanks Josh, and I beg to differ I think she is closer than you think" she winks

"Arghh please Millie Graves don't set me up on any more blind dates with Mace's friends" I panic slightly remembering the last time it happened

"I won't I promise gosh you should have seen your face  priceless" she says chuckling

"Yeah yeah whatever, now if you don't want to let me sleep let's choose something to watch"

"Animes or movie or series"

"Animes"

"Alright then let's watch plunderer it's fun so I've heard"

"No problem as long as it's an anime I have no objections"

We start watching before mom called us for dinner.

Me totally not waiting for plunderer to realize a second season now😪🥺☹️
