Josh's pov
"Hi we are here to see Ms Spence" I say to the receptionist
"Alright, name please"
"Josh Graves"
"35th floor, she is waiting for you just tell her secretary your name I'll inform her of your arrival" the petite blonde says
"Alright thanks, let's go pumpkin" Mille and I walk over to the open elevator which takes us straight to the 35th floor
"Hi there I'm Josh Graves" I tell the elderly lady in front of me
"Yes dear, go through she is waiting for you"
"I'm so excited" mille whispers beside me causing me to chuckle
Ally's pov
"Come in" I say loud enough for the person to hear
"Afternoon Ms Spence" Josh walks in with a beautiful brunette behind him
"Ohh afternoon Mr Graves glad you could make it" I say sticking out my hand for a handshake which he accepts hesitantly
What the actual fuck, does he think he is above a handshake
"This is my little sister, Mille Graves she is a huge fan actually rephrase she idolizes you and practically begged to be here" he say causing the girl to shift her weight on both feets
"Ohh wow I'm honored, nice to meet you Mille"
"L.... likewise Ms Spence" reactions such as her are gold to me, knowing that I inspire young girls such as she is an absolute rewarded for my hard work
"Let's begin, just pick out your favorite 5" he says as we all take a seat.
30 minutes later I was done picking out my favorite pictures, Josh has hardly said anything but his sister wow she is a talker not that I mind because I'm also one.
"These are definitely my top 5" I say but he only nods
"Is that all" once again he nods
"Alright then thanks for coming, I can't wait to see how it turns out" I say stretching my hand for a handshake which he doesn't accept but his sister does
"He is equally grateful for the opportunity, sorry my brother has dementia so lengthy conversations are extremely hard for him" she explains causing my eyes to widen I look over at josh who wasn't even affected by her telling me, that makes sense why he didn't say much during the photoshoot.
"Ohh I see, thanks again" with a small smile they both walk away
Josh's pov
"Josh you good" she asks holding my hand
"Yes pumpkin, sorry about earlier"
"Ohh hush, I totally understand and so does she" she says then starts attacking the cupcakes
"Slow down pumpkin, or you will have a party in the toilet later on today" I chuckle
"Can't blame me this is amazing" she sipped her shake greedily, along with her bold attitude Mille eats like the world is ending yet she has a model like physic. I always tease her that if she isn't careful in a few years she would regret it but mille being mille doesn't care she believes in YOLO.
"Ehmmm Josh I have to tell you something" she says a bit nervous
"Shoot pumpkin"
"So Ron asked me out to be his date for prom"
"Okay, what exactly is the problem"
"You know things haven't been the same since kim passed away, I just don't know if I can go through but I also really like Ron"
"Ohh pumpkin, I know it's hard I don't expect you to get over this quickly but if you really like Ron you should tell him how you feel maybe go out some other day if you can't handle being at prom" I say holding her hand
"Do you think he will accept" she asks biting her nails out of habit
"I'm sure he would pumpkin, I already know he adores you so he will understand"
"Thanks Josh"
"Anytime pumpkin, now let's buy you more dessert also for the rest or I'll never hear the end of it" I say and we both get up and head to the counter
"We come bearing desserts" I hear Mille call out while I lock the car immediately following her
"Please tell me you got their famous cheesecake" Mace says untangling herself from kelab
"As if we would still be alive if we didn't" mille says chuckling
"Everyone's favorite dessert is in the bigger box even yours kelab, no one touches the small box it's mine I dare anyone too" mille says eyeing all our siblings and kelab
"That's not what you will say when you get diabetes" Mike says smirking
"Whatever asshole"
"Hey watch your mouth young lady" mom calls out from the lounge
"It was mike mama" mille winces causing the rest to laugh
"How did the meeting go by the way" kelab asks while munching on his girlfriends cake
"Alright, nothing much happened she just picked out her favorite pictures"
"You know you could have just sent an email" Mace says raising her leftbrow
"I could but I promised Mille to take her so yeah" I say shrugging
"You spoil her too much" my three siblings say together
"Y'all are just jelly" mille says before munching on her cupcake, shaking my head I walk to the lounge
"Hi baby" my mom smiles once I walk in
"Afternoon mama and dad" I reply before kissing her cheeks
"How are you son" dad says looking away from the newspaper
"All good dad" he nods his head with a smile before going back to his newspaper
"You must be tired dear, why don't you get some rest, dinner will be ready by 6"
"Alright" I say before heading towards the staircase.
