raging through the castle halls, Nikolas walked angrily towards Lana and Xavier who were standing there horrified.

"WHERE WERE YOU TWO HUH?" he yelled looking at Lana with his deadly eyes.

"We just went for a walk..." Lana whispered.

"WHAT IF SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED TO YOU? ARE YOU REALLY THAT STUPID?" he yelled again.

"I'm sorry," she said with her head down. She was slowly losing her patience at Nikolas' tone. He needed to calm down.

"SORRY DOESN'T CUT IT!"

"WELL I'M SORRY I DON'T WANT TO BE TRAPPED INSIDE ANOTHER PRISON. I WANTED TO EXPLORE AND SO I DID. YOU CANT CONTROL ME NIK!" she yelled back this time losing her patience. She was heated. She didn't like being yelled at or being told what to do.

"DON'T RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME!" he shouted.

"BOTH OF YOU STOP. CALM DOWN!" Xavier said jumping in the middle of their argument. Nikolas spun his head in a fast motion to glare at xavier.

"YOU CAN STAY QUITE. YOU ARE IN NO POSITION TO TALK," he said yelling at Xavier. Xavier looked at Nikolas in disgust leaving the scene.

"Now you, you are not allowed to go anywhere anymore!" Nikolas said in a serious tone, "You hear me?"

"NO NIKOLAS I DON'T HEAR YOU. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? AT LEAST IN THE DOME I WASN'T CONTROLLED BY A PSYCHOTIC MANIAC LIKE YOU!" She yelled back, completely losing it. Flames started to appear from besides her. Her anger was controlling her powers. Now she had a fire circle around her that would burn anything. Her powers were on.

However, Nikolas who noticed the flames didn't even try to stop or calm her down. Instead he continued to say something he shouldn't have said, "WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THAT DOME ALONE WITHOUT ANYONE BECAUSE YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE LOVED!" Closing his mouth he realised he had gone too far. Now she was furious. The strong girl with no emotions had tears flooding down her face as the fire around her grew higher and hotter. She stared at Nikolas in disbelief. Nikolas moved forwards trying to calm her down before she burned the whole city to the ground.

He tried grabbing her wrist to calm her down but then she yelled at him, "GET AWAY FROM ME! YOU DISGUST ME NIKOLAS LABORA." She stormed down the hall to her bedroom as the fire trailed behind her scaring everyone. That's when she realised she had no control over her emotions or her power. But she knew anger makes you stupid, and stupid gets you killed. She screamed into her pillow as the fire around her raged higher and higher. Once she finished screaming the fire started to go down lower and lower until it wasn't there anymore. She looked around her to see the brown wooden ground that had turned into a coal black. She had burned everything. She was furious and disgusted but most of all hurt. She was hurt and in pain, and somehow she had no control over it.

Nina walked towards Nikolas so furious you could see flames inside her eyes.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU HURT HER SO BADLY," she yelled at him in anger. He had hurt her best friend. No one was allowed to hurt her.

"I just- I couldn't control it... i'm sorry i know i fucked up," he whispered with his head hanging down.

"You destroyed her and all you can say is sorry?" she shook her head in disappointment.

"IM SORRY OK. I don't want to lose my sister again. I can't go through that pain again. She's my little sister and it's my job to protect her. My sister is my responsibility," he said as a puddle of tears gathered inside his eyes. For the first time, Nina realised how much pain he had gone through. Losing the sister you thought you were going to live with for the rest of your life.

"I know.. I know," she said hugging Nikolas tight. she placed her head onto his shoulders, closing her eyes. At first, Nikolas had his arms open hesitant to hug her back. But then, he gave into it hugging her back. It was the first comfort he had felt for a long time. No one had ever hugged him like that since his mother died. They stood there hugging each other for minutes or even hours. But it is beautiful. Nikolas buried his face on her shoulder trying to stop the tears from falling.

She then let go of him stepping back, "Why did she have flames everywhere?" she asked.

"Her power got out of control. When she rages the fire inside her rags too destroying anything in its way. I saw that and I ignored it," he said ashamed.

"It's alright we need to help her control it because i'm not letting my best friend destroy herself. But first you need to apologise to her," she said crossing her hands.

"Yes ma'am," he said, teasing her. She then pointed towards Lanas room signaling him to go.

He walked towards Lanas room preparing a speech inside his complicated mind. When he reached the door he knocked softly waiting for her response.

"Get the fuck away from my door Nikolas!" she yelled from inside the room. Her voice was broken. She was choking on the unstoppable tears. He felt like he was a disgusting creature. He never should have talked to her that way.

"Please open the door Lana..." he replied back placing his fist on the door.

"I said fuck off! I don't want to talk to you, see you or hear your voice. Got it? I don't want a brother," she didn't want a brother. Those words ringed inside his mind. He had brought so much pain upon her that she didn't even want him. He sighed remembering old memories.

"I know..." he said, "when you were born I was so excited to be an older brother. I was so excited to protect this little girl who would soon be the only family I had left. Im sorry. I know I hurt you, but I can't let anything happen to you. You are all I have left in this darn world. So im really sorry..." he stopped waiting for any response from her. But she remained silent, "I'll stop bothering you now," he said as he started to walk away from the closed door. Before he could leave the door opened as Lana rushed towards her brother. She hugged him for so long.

"I always wanted a brother. And now I have one," she said smiling at his puffy wet eyes, 'whatever you do, you will always be my brother. Even if you suck at it," they both laughed still hugging each other as the world around them disappeared.
