forgive those you can't forget
and forget those you can't forgive
everyone told this to the dimwit
so she held back the tears and the trembling lip
that day she was sure
no one could understand her
the pain she had to endure
the comments she had to take
her nails used to pierce her skin
her fist used to tighten
her days used to be dim
always so frightened
but now it should've stopped
after all the bad days were behind
but her smile was still robbed
the memories were still a horrific sight
it was like she was stuck in a hell loop
everything playing on repeat
it was her against their troops
war ended in her defeat
the only mistake she had
was standing up for what was right
that's what made him so mad
that he stole her light
she still remember the first day
when she was called upon
humiliated , in her bed she layed
figuring what went wrong
she almost couldn't control her laughter
when she finally got it figured out
what lead to this disaster
was speaking out loud
