Ally and Lando go way back. They have been friends for as long as they can remember, ever since the first day of kindergarten they hit it of. Lately Ally had been developing some feelings for Lando, but she didn't know how to express them. Lando on the other side had had feelings for Ally for over 5 years now, but he never had the courage to ask her out since he didn't want to ruin the friendship. Just as ally had developed some feelings, their relationship changed completely.

Their friendship had changed tremendously over the past 2 years, Lando was now a F1 driver and traveled all around the world while Ally was still living in Bristol. Lando was now living a busy life while Ally was all alone since her grandma died a few moths ago. They didn't see each other as often as they used to and it was taking its toll on their friendship. Ally and Lando did not have as much contact during the second season as they had during his first season in F1. The last time they had really talked was after Lando's first F1 podium, and that was the first race of his second season in F1... Even when Lando was visiting home for a short period of time, he didn't text Ally but he spend it with family instead. Ally didn't mind at first but felt a bit abandoned when she found out that Lando had already left Bristol before even mentioning that he was home.

When Ally run into Lando's mom in the supermarket they started talking. Cisca, Lando's mom had always been a big fan of Ally and invited her for dinner when Lando was back. Ally didn't want to be rude and decided to agree. This was going to be the first time that they would see and speak to each other in over a year. Lando didn't even know that Ally had colored her hair from blond to brunette nor that Ally's grandma died a few weeks ago. Ally was not looking forward to see him, because she knew it will bring up so many emotions that she finally had under control.
