It was the weekend of the race in Abu Dhabi which meant that yet another season in F1 was almost over. After last weeks fall out at the Belgian Grand Prix It did not sit Ally right and thought 'what happened to talking about everything instead of running away from our problems?' At that moment Ally received a text message with a link to a video from Lando's mom Ciska stating "I don't know if you have seen this already, but it is worth watching it."
Ally did not expect Lando to say those things about her in an interview and she knew that the ball was now in her court. She had run away from her feelings for Lando once and it made her miserable, she wasn't going to do it another time. She booked the first flight possible to Abu Dhabi and left. As Ally arrived at the airport she took a cab straight to his hotel. Ally knew his schedule since it was the same every race weekend. Around this time he should be at his hotel room resting, so she decided not to waste any time and go to the hotel straight away.
When Lando and Ally were young they had a bear they used to apologize to each other. It was a rule they made up when they were only 5 years old "If someone apologizes with the apology bear you have to forgive them" Ally had totally forgotten about this bear until she finally unpacked some boxes that were sent to her form when she sold her house. She had brought the bear to Abu Dhabi to 'break the ice'. As Ally walked into the hotel she saw Daniel sitting in the lobby, she walked up to him and asked for Lando's room number. As she walked up to his room she got nervous but she was determined.
Lando heard knocking on his door and thought that it was room service but when he opened the door he saw Ally standing there with teary eyes and with their apology bear. He didn't doubt for a second and pulled Ally in for a big hug. They both said sorry at the same time and had come to the conclusion that no one was really in the wrong. They looked at each other and made out. And it was in that moment that they knew they were never "Just Friends". They have loved each other ever since they knew and they were never letting each other go again. They had mishaps in the past but they were all caused because they didn't know how to express their feelings for each other. Now when they knew how much they liked each other it felt like they could rule the world together and nothing could stop them.
When Ciska face timed Lando and saw Ally in his room she knew, "She had always know they were more than 'Just Friends'."
