We were on a boat almost to India and everyone was a little nervous to set foot in the new territory.

"  I imagine India as a place where people eat only curry and you could fall ill at any time. " Joseph said to Avdol.

" I don't know if my body will be able to handle the culture gap. " Polnareff said leaning on me

" Your assessment is a bit distorted. Do not worry. It is a nice country, where simple people live. I give you my guarantee. "

I felt the boat bump the land and when it settled Avdol opened the door to reveal a walkway onto the new land we were to travel across.

   " Well, we're in Calcutta. Let's go. "

We all got off the boat and onto stable land. And that's when it happened. We were stormed by a bunch of people. Each person asked us for different things. I found it funny how the older men went to Kakyoin and the children went to Jotaro. They tugged on his clothing yelling for a tip. The people in front of me were yelling at me to do things and buy certain products.

" You're so pretty! Buy this shaw to ward off the men and conceal your beauty! "

" You're a nice woman would you marry my son! "

" I think my wallet's already been stolen. " Kakyoin said.

   " Nope! I've got it! " I yelled.

I stuck to Avdol's side as we escaped the crowd. We walked to a cafe and took a seat inside, finally getting some peace from all of the people. I sat in between Jotaro and Kakyoin. I leaned against my chair and felt my shoulders relax.

" Talk about culture shock. " Polnareff said setting his teacup down.

He never went anywhere without his stuff, due to his bag almost being stolen by some people when we were crowded. He excused himself to use the bathroom and he brought his bag with him.

" What about your order? " Joseph asked him.

" I'll leave it to you. It had better be something amazing. Gorgeous, splendid food to suit a Frenchman like me. "

He walked away from the table and I could see Joseph's mouth had dropped. I reach over to put my hand under his chin and push it up, closing his mouth.

   " Anything huh? "

We all turned towards Kakyoin who was holding a menu in his hand. His eyes were focused on the words he was reading while his finger was tracing the different words on the paper.

   " Let's see. Something he'll like? Excuse me. "

A waiter came over and Kakyoin told him the order while the rest of us ordered something. I didn't really consider my options and just said something that was on the menu. Food was the last thing I had to worry about now. I looked over and saw a small cut on Kakyoin's hand. It was barely noticeable, but there was a little blood dripping from it.

' It must have been from that crowd. '

I took my napkin and wiped the blood away and then placed my thumb over it. A small light emitted from my thumb and when I took my thumb away from his hand the cut was gone. Kakyoin's eyes met mine and I shrugged my shoulders.

" There was a cut on your hand. "

" I see. Thank you for healing me. "

I nodded my head at him and placed my hands in my lap and stared at the table. My mind, like always, was filled with scenarios of when we would meet Dio. I wanted to mentally prepare myself for when we faced him. Any feelings were gone, but I wanted to make sure.
