This is a mermaid au but it's not your typical fairytale. The appearances of these sea creatures won't be 'beautiful', so to speak. They won't be ugly, however, they will look like realistic creatures of the sea. I don't want to make them mimic something straight from a Disney movie so imagine each mermaid/merman as something demon-like.
