An empire of assimilation and expansion,
In man's eternal exploration, unfurled
a great evil beyond comprehension.
The beasts blighted the lands of man and their invention.
Cornered, without homes, man looked to dragonkind for aid in this time of need.
but the dragon cared more of gold than the life of man.
In one last effort to save the world of man, the great wizards,
wise and old, raised the last lands of man in their heed.
The clouds were cold in the skies of old, man's new home among the birds.
Mankind no longer rules this world.
