I OPENED MY EYES, STARING AT THE CEILING.
Yawning as I allow the visions of the night to give away to the day, giving me the moment to shed the sleep from my body.
The sun shined in my face through the crack of my curtains, I hesitantly rubbed the dreams away as I closed the curtains even more. Thoughts of yesterday come and go in waves. Even if I tried to forget about it, it stayed with me.
I laid back down onto my bed, debating whether or not I should get up again. I let out an exasperated sigh as I looked at my clock, which showed it was 1:37 in the afternoon.
"1:37 in the afternoon?" I gasped, getting up and sprinting to my desk, picking up my phone.
