A Misplaced Red Robin

Tim found himself walking through what looked like a deserted city after waking up and realizing he wasn't in the warehouse or anywhere near it anymore. While happy that no one would question his choice of clothing (seeing as he didn't know where he was, his glove computer currently unresponsive at the moment), didn't stop him from wondering what had caused this city to become this way in the first place

Judging by the way everything looked, Tim would have to guess that this city has been like this for at least 4 years give or take a few. If one were to ask him what the cause could have been, he'd say as if some sort of apocalypse had happened

'Please tell me I did not just get thrown back in time or to another dimension... Oh when I see that psychic black masked guy, he's going to suffer in ways one could never imagine. And I might as well add Dick and Jason into the mix as well for getting me into this mess in the first place!' the young detective thought to himself, as what looked like a tumbleweed passed right in front of him, much to his confusion. Ghost Town and tumbleweeds, he better not be jumped by aliens next, cause he's had enough action for the moment

Tim sighed to himself as he stopped in front of what looked like an old clothing store. Looking down at his Red Robin suit and back at the abandoned city, the former Robin hesitated slightly at the idea of stealing. However seeing no other choice available, Tim went on inside anyway. Just because there were no locals walking around at the moment, didn't mean he should be seen wearing something other than civilian clothing... he'd rather not be asked any questions

"At least Jason isn't here to see this. Knowing him, he'd never let me live this down. Dick would most likely frown at the idea of stealing, but wouldn't give me a hard time if it was necessary and the demon brat... well he'd probably tease me like Jason or do something else to show he's better" Tim mumbled as he grabbed a pair of sunglasses before placing them over his eyes once he removed his mask. Soon after he went searching thought the remaining clothing racks for something he liked

After a while, Tim was now dressed in civilian clothing. His look now consisted of a dark navy shirt underneath a light green hoodie, a black leather jacket (which he happened to like... maybe Jason was starting to influence his taste in clothing), a pair of jeans and some running shoes

He was also able to find a few tools to help fix his glove computer, which he spent a good amount of time on. Satisfied it was back to working condition, Tim decided to keep the tool kit with him should he have need of it again

He noticed what looked like a good looking backpack from a shelf and the black haired teen folded up his suit neatly and placed it inside the duffel bag. His utility belt and weapons placed securely in-between the suit as extra precaution for the time being

"Now to figure out where on Earth I am... that is if I even am on Earth" he sighed, putting the backpack on his shoulders and making his way back out towards ghost town once again

Nothing so far suggested there was any sort of life here. It was as if the place had been evacuated or they were hiding... but if that had been the case, where could they have gone?

"Who knew the peace and quiet... alright, not really peace but still, could cause me to miss the others" Tim quietly stated, kicking a pebble on the ground

For once in his life, Tim was at a loss of what to do. He didn't know where to go or what to do. No one to go and get help from. Everything was abandoned or broken to pieces... nope Tim was stuck here until he found something to help him out

An old newspaper stand near a destroyed store caught his eyes as the third Robin walked over towards it and saw just where he was... New York City

"Definitely different dimension" he said with narrowed eyes, seeing a faint image of a strange group of what he presumed were superheroes. That got him thinking... if this world had heroes of their own, than maybe they would have something to get him back home

Suddenly however, Tim could hear a faint noise coming from somewhere further down the street. He decided to go check it out, seeing as he had nothing else to do and also due to his curiosity. It was the first type of noise he had heard since stepping... ok landing in this place, other than those tumbleweeds which Tim had yet to figure out why they were a city of all things

Continuing his way towards the noise, his thoughts went back to home. Tim couldn't help but think if Dick or Jason had noticed he was gone, or if anyone was searching for him. If they were and couldn't find a trace of him, Tim wouldn't blame them really to be honest. If the roles had have been reversed, Tim would probably not think about searching through other dimensions right away

Finally reaching the place the noise from coming from, the teenager looked through a broken window and realized it was in fact a human male talking to what looked like a small group of people... almost like those support groups

"Hmm things just got interesting" was all Tim said, deciding a closer look was needed as he disappeared into the shadows

Author's Note: Alright the next chapter is where we will finally start seeing pieces of the movie. Also poor Tim, finding himself in a place that screams 'Ghost Town'. Also I feel bad to Dick and Jason if Tim does in fact decide to have them face his wrath. On the other note, hopefully I got the setting right in the city, if not... oh well what can I do. If any of you got any suggestions whatsoever, let me know ;)
