So we were finally back in the city and I was happy and upset all at the same time.
I was happy that were all safe but upset because as I guessed I got fired from the hospital.I was currently out on a date with Dave but I really wasn't in the spirit
"Baby you don't need a job I got you"Dave protested again
"Dave I don't ever want to depend on a man bae you know that's not what I do, I want to make my own money simple"I argued to him
"Fine..here look start a business how bout that"he suggested
"Business in what?"I asked
"You always making up some new cream n shit like that for your face why not make it big?"he said
He was actually talking shit that made sense.
"Okayy not a bad idea I'll see" I said just as our food came to the table"
We ate our breakfast and went to Walmart to get a few things.
Once we paid for our groceries and left the store Dave wanted to stop by an old friends house in his old neighborhood.
As we pulled up I could see the young ones of today and they were just out in these streets.
I think I even seen one that looked 15 holding a gun.
I worried for this world to be honest.
Dave got out the car and walked up to a house greeting a few boys.
I waited in the car as he said he wouldn't take to long and we caught a few stares but I think that's because we drove the range today.
I sat scrolling through my phone I seen a little girl looking upset and she was walking on the road by herself.
I rolled down the window.
"You okay baby"i asked her
"No these lil boys took my doll and ice cream"she said pointing towards the basketball court
Since Dave was taking his sweet time I decided to help her out.
"Come show me them" I said getting out the car and holding her hand
"So what's your name gorgeous?"i asked her as we walked
"Leilani"she said smiling
"Well Leilani,I'm Sierra,how old are you?"I asked
"I'm 6,how old are youu?"She replied
"Just know that I'm a lot older than you"I said laughing as we got to the boys
They were busy swinging the doll around and one of them we busy enjoying her ice cream
