Chapter 46

A few days later

Today is the day before my bridal shower and all of the preperations are already finalised for the wedding. These few weeks were very stressful for me and I haven't really had time with Xavier because he's been busy with his businesses to make sure that while we're on our honeymoon everything runs smoothly.

I'm sitting in the living room with my mother, Amanda, Emma, granny, Bella and Tammy my wedding planner. She has really been a great help.

"Princess, have you decided where you want to go for your honeymoon?" My mother asks

"Xavier and I have talked about it and we have decided to go to his private island for a month." I say

"The house is beautiful, we've only been there once busy I'm sure you'll love it. You're getting married in two days." Amanda says and I sigh with a huge smile on my face

"I can't believe it, Xavier is just amazing, he's everything that I ever deamed of and so much more. I love him so much and i can't wait to be his wife and his birthday is also in a few weeks." I say

"Yip is his birthday present going to be a baby?" Bella asks

"Noooooo, I don't know, Xavier and I have talked about babies, we both want to have kids now but I'm scared of giving birth." I say

"Don't worry about that now, you need to worry about the pain you'll be experiencing the day after your wedding." Granny says with a laugh.

"And that pain goes on for a few days, the guy sees that youre in pain but he wants to go again, I told Antonio to get out and leave me alone." Amanda says laughing as well.

"Loosing your virginity is not something easy, yes having sex is nice but when he first puts it in, oh god it feels like he's trying to split you in half." My mother says and they all nod.

"I'm a bit confused, are you still a virgin Annalise?" Tammy asks.

"Yeah I am but not for long, Xavier can't wait, he keeps on saying that he's counting the days." I say with a laugh.

"Wow, and you're willing to marry him?" She asks

"I love him and I know that he loves me too." I say and my phone starts ringing and a picture of Xavier pops up.

"Hello Xavier." I say and Emma and Bella start making kissing faces at me.

"Hello love, how has your say been?" He asks

"Okay and yours?" I ask

"Busy, I'm finally done with everything, are you at your parents house?" He asks

"Yeah are you still at the office?" I ask

"No come open the door for me." He says and hangs up.

"He's got to be kidding." I say and go to the front door and open it. There stands my future husband in all his handsome godlike glorry.

I haven't seen him in 2 days. He looks even more handsome now. I pull him into a tight hug and he wraps his hands around me.

"God I've missed you." He says

"I missed you too." I say and pull away, I grab his face with my hands and pull him in for a deep kiss. Someone clearing their throat behind is makes me pull away and stand a few feet a way from him.

I look behind me to see my granny standing with a smirk on her face.

"Good afternoon granny." He says

"Hello son, are you too just gonna do the deed here outside or are you coming in?" She asks

"We're coming in." I say and we walk back to the living room and we sit down.

"Good afternoon everyone." Xavier says. And everyone greets him.
"Who's that?" He whispers into my ear.

"Tammy have you met Xavier?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"Tammy this is Xavier, Xavier this is Tammy my wedding planner." I say as i introduce them.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Knight." She says

"Nice to meet you Tammy." He says and they shake hands.

"Love, what still needs to be done for the wedding?" He asks

"Nothing, everything is finalized, the venue, cake, decoration, food and everything else." I say

"Good, can we go talk?" He asks with a serious expression.

"Sure, let's go there outside." I say

We go to the backyard and take a seat in the lawn chairs.

"There's something I need to tell you and i don't know how you're going to react but just know that I respect your decision." He says with his business face but I see that in his eyes there's fear.

"Xavier, youre scaring me, dont you want to marry me anymore?" I ask and a tear rools down my cheek. He wipes it away quickly and holds my hand.

"What!? I love you so much Annalise, and i never want to loose you, there is just something you need to know." He says and I nod my head for him to continue

"I smoke cigarettes and cigars when I'm stressed." He says

"Oh that? I know i can taste the cigarettes when we kiss Xavier i just never asked you about it and I've never seen you smoke." I say

"You knew?" He asks

"Yes I knew and I asked Bella about it a long time ago and she told me that I have nothing to worry about you only smoke when you're stressed and when you are really stressed you go to a club." I say

"She knows me well. Don't you have a problem with this?" He asks

"Xavier I love you and I don't want you to get lung cancer, but I know that you had a life before you met me and my father is a doctor and he smokes weed sometimes, I can't change who you are but i can try to help you be better, if you need someone I'll always be there." I say.

"I love you and thank you is there something you want to confess or ask?" He says

"Well why don't you talk about your mother's parents?" I ask and his face chnges into full rage.

"I hate them." He simply says and gets up
"We're going to our house I need to tell you the whole story." He says and I follow him to the car.

We get in and drive to his house when we get there the sun is just about to set. I follow him to the back of the house in total silence.

He is furious, I can see it in his eyes and he's sad as well, he takes off his suit jacket and throws it in the chair by the pool. He pats a chair and I take a seat on it, he sits on the grass next to me with his head resting on my knees.

"A few years ago..."
