The End of the World Part 2

"Do you think he knows?" Samuel questions as himself and Celeste enter a viewing station.

"No, I don't think he does" Celeste says quietly as she watches the earth closely, "It's funny how something so beautiful and old can be destroyed in an instant."

"Do you mind if I go explore?" Samuel asks eagerly and Celeste shakes her head smiling at him.

"Of course, go explore to your hearts content. Just be careful of Cassandra and the metal spiders" Celeste tells him with a slight look of worry "It should all go to plan but we don't want to risk anything"

Samuel nods and practically races out of the room. The young girl is silent until she hears a set of footsteps enter the room, raising an eyebrow in curiosity as she knows it isn't Samuel so she waits for the person to speak.

"Beautiful isn't it?" A familiar northern accent says and she smiles slightly.

"Tragically beautiful more like" She muses and a chuckle comes from the Doctor who comes to stand next to her. "So old yet so young"

"I'm the Doctor, you are?" The Time Lord turns to her and holds out his hand, feeling that strong pull towards her.

"Nobody important, nice to meet you Doctor" Celeste says, wary of taking his hand as she's a bit jumpy when it comes to human touch. She doesn't take it the offered hand and just gives him a small smile instead, making a look of surprise come across the Time Lord's face as he withdraws his hand.

"So where are you from?" The Doctor asks, looking down at the planet in front of him. He's surprised at how relaxed he feels next to the unnamed girl and he adds to the list of things he doesn't know about the mystery girl.

"Down there" Celeste replies, nodding her slightly in the direction of Earth and she watches the Doctor's reaction closely. "But you already knew that"

"How did you get here mystery girl?" The Doctor peruses, ignoring her comment.

"You Time Lords, always so curious" Celeste chuckles quietly as she turns around starting to make her way to the exit, the Doctor spins around grabbing her arm gently.

"How do you know?!" He hisses slightly, pain and anger flashing through his old yet wise eyes, as he glares into the soft brown eyes of the girl in front of him.

Rose rushes into the room with Alfie behind her, a frown on his face hinting to a previous argument. Alfie's eyebrows rise slightly at the Doctor's position with Celeste and she gently takes her arm out of his hand.

"Rose" The Doctor sighs quietly, slightly annoyed at the interruption.

"Another time Doctor" Celeste says, her voice soft. She turns around looking at Alfie with curious eyes, she walks up to where he is on the stairs and stops beside him, ignoring the looks Rose is giving her.
