i was chilling in my hospital bed when eboni walked in
"girl i thought they was lying when they said you was in here finna have a baby" she walked over to me
"hey eboni how are you"
"good girl well have a great time pushing that baby out" she walked out
me and kari haven't said anything to each other mainly because every time he talks i say nothing
"hey ms.keons lemme check again" the doctor said
i lifted up my legs
"looks like your 10cm dilated your gonna get ready and push mr. jones if you want you can watch" kari got up and stood by me
"do you wanna call your family mama"

"i'm serious don't let go you are the only person i have" i told him

kari sat in the bed with and we just started at cartier

i set cartier down so i can make his bottle
i made his bottle then fed him
minutes later kari walked in with my food
"thank you bubba" he handed me my food

"can you burp him while i eat" he sat in the bed and i handed him cartier
i ate my food and while i started at kari and cartier he is already such a good dad
"why you starting at me mama" kari looked up at me
"your a good dad" he smiled

i threw my trash away
"give me my son"
"you just gave birth go to sleep mama"

"i'm going to sleep because i'm tired not because you tell me what to do"
i tried to get comfortable but i missed having someone sleep with me

"yea" he put cartier in the baby bed and laid with me

i wrapped my arms around him and fell asleep
