Few days had past and Selena was staring at the ceiling, it was her eighteen birthday. She slowly jumped off her bed and made her way to the bathroom. She used to love her birthday but after the accident and triggering her curse she just never felt ready for it
When she finished, she stared at the mirror and sighed "Eighteen there we go" she whispered to herself as she got a text from Jeremy wishing her a happy birthday
She ran downstairs to see Elena and Jenna were waiting for her with a bright smile causing her to sigh
"Birthday Queen is up!" Jenna cheered and Selena smiled weakly
"Happy birthday, Selena" Elena told her as she hugged tightly
"Guys, thank you truly but... I don't want a party or anything. I'm good" She told them and they frowned
"You used to love your birthday" Jenna pointed out and Elena nodded in agreement "What happened?"
"It's nothing... I just don't want to celebrate" she said "Plus it's not that big of the deal"
"You're eighteen. It's a big deal" Elena said and Selena gave her a look
"Yay me"
"We want to celebrate you" Elena argued and her sister scoffed id disbelief
"Says the one who almost cried on her birthday" Selena said bitterly "Sorry didn't mean to be a bitch... not really my day"
"It's okay" Jenna told her with a small smile
"I have to go" she told them and Jenna stopped her
"Wait no breakfast?"
"I'll eat something out" she said with a smile and took off
